A child on Whitebeard's ship, who would think of such an...peculiar idea?
(Name) watched TV in the living room while Rakuyo sat on one of the kitchen stools, one eye narrowed and elbows resting on the counter as he watched her. She may be Whitebeard's daughter and have some of his resilience flowing through her veins, but he was still surprised that she was able to stay hidden for so long. Granted, she still had to be exposed to the other crew members. He slid off the seat and grabbed a new one next to her on the couch. She turned her head and smiled.
"Hi, Rakuyo-san!"
"(Name)" She blinked, her eyes flooded with wonder - "Wow! Your mustache is gigantic! Like Pops! How did you do that?" They were silent for a while, the noise of a cartoon show the only sound in the background. His silent wait lasted two minutes before he smiled again.
"It's okay, you don't need to tell me. Dad said that everyone has big, big secrets that they don't want to tell nobody!" She turned her head to the TV and waited another five minutes until Rakuyo spoke again.
"Anyone," he corrected.
"Eh?"
"Big secrets they don't want to tell anyone. Use proper grammar, (Name)."
His lips turned into a smile. She jumped off the couch and grabbed Rakuyo's hand, either not noticing or ignoring his retreat - and he let himself be dragged out of the house. They walked to the nearest slope and sat down on the soft green grass.
"Why are we here?" The tall man asked a few minutes after looking at the sunset.
"Because it's very beautiful. Don't you think it's beautiful, Rakuyo-san?"
"...Hm." As he looked up at the sky in all its whites and blues, he sighed and took off his headband.
He set her down and met her eyes, her gaze returning to his in childish delight - "Rakuyo-san! Rakuyo-san! Your hair is so pretty!" she exclaimed.
"It's like- it's like those sweets that look like cotton!" The little child's naive happiness seemed to be meaningless, but that didn't stop his fun.
"Well, if you want, we can do different hairstyles for him, if I can't, I'll teach you, okay?" She nodded, still looking into his eyes. He stood up and held out his hand to help her stand, the other around her yellow bandana. The sky lit up above them.
"What do you want to do now?" he questioned.
She puffed out her cheeks and looked down at her feet as she walked hand in hand with her nanny for the day. An idea suddenly came to him as she looked at him with a toothy smile.
"Oden-san's swords! It's in his room and he likes to make mini sword collections with it! Let's go into the room and play with the wooden ones! He let me play with them if I wanted"
