He didn't know what to do with this...girl! She was too young to know about swords and not old enough to understand anything about their skill. But he was the only one available on the ship and he was ordered to take care of her.

Oden got up from his bed and rummaged through his closet until he grabbed a lump of gray clay and took it to what he called the base's "living room." A large room filled with a coffee table, a couple of soft couches, and a television, When he walked in, he saw (Name) lying on the floor with her head resting on her hand and a blank piece of paper on the floor in front of her. Overwhelmed by curiosity, he crouches down from her.

"What are you doing?" he asked.

"...thinking" - "Thinking about what, hm?"

"What to draw." She answered.

"What do you like to draw, Oden-san?" The taller man blinked. In all the years he's been on Whitebeard's ship, no one has asked him that before. It took him a while to discern his thoughts.

"...Things, sometimes...nature." His mouth went 'o' in understanding before his attention turned to the bag in his hands. He pushed himself off the floor and sat cross-legged on the dull wood."What is this, Oden-san?" she asked curiously. He smiled slightly, took out some of the substance that smelled like dirt and placed it in (Name's) small hands.

"Clay you can play with it and mold it into anything you want, you have the freedom to change it to whatever you want, I normally use it to mold and create weapon ideas, do whatever you want" he he said. (Name) looked down at the cold clay before smiling and molding herself to her will. The man eventually got tired of looking at her and took out a lump of clay for himself. It took the experienced hands ten minutes to create a rabbit, which for some reason was not happy.

Rabbits meant kindness, sensitivity and delicacy. Which are the opposite of him.And that made him irritated with every passing second... And without realizing it, he had just destroyed his work with a closed fist.

(Name) didn't look at the explosion, but at Oden.

"The little bunny was cute, Oden-san, why did you destroy him? Did he make you sad?" He couldn't bring himself to answer the question. The little girl noticed this, put the clay back in the bag and went back to the sheet of paper. He watched as she drew her colored pencils with the utmost concentration. When he finished, she stood up and approached the swordsman with a wide smile.

"Here, Oden-san!" He exclaimed, handing her the paper. - "Only for you!" He took the sheet and looked at the "photograph". There was a doll with black squiggles on the figure's head, irregular red circles within the circle that were supposed to be eyes, and a curved line in what appeared to be a smile. Strange orange shapes sprouted from his head.

"What is that?" he asked softly.

"It's you, idiot! You have cute bunny ears so you can be cute too!" Something hurt in his chest as he continued to look at the photograph. He noticed something purple on his back like wings and pointed out.

"What is that?" - "Those big purple bows on your back! They look like butterfly wings!"

''Butterfly wings...?'' Oden smiled.
