A damaged shutdown 10 ft. robot welcomed us.
Nasa bodega kami ngayon ng unibersidad.
"Ang laki pala nitong robot Quera," Kyela's words, wobbling.
"Tama ka Kyela, sobrang laki ng robot. And the coiling wires are fragmented.
'Ano kayang kailangan unahin dito? ' I murmured.
I was about to ask Kyela about it pero napansin ko namang naiiyak lang na nanonood sa robot ang babaeng ito, balisa at parang wala sa sarili.
I snapped my fingers in her face, and I guess, I got her.
"What's with that face?" Then, I asked.
"Oh, pasensya Quera.
And I, as a concerned friend, face and told her, 'we can make it', sincerely.
I expected Kyela's words in agreement but I just heard her plea again.
"I told you we should ask Drupe for help, Quera," she insisted, shaking me. However, just like earlier, I only responded with a death glare, causing her to cease her persistence.
"May something kayo n'on kaya for sure papayag yun. Please Quera. Please."
With her statement, mas lalong uminit ang ulo ko, naiinis sa mga walang kwenta niyang pahayag.
"Tumahimik ka Kyela. Naririnig mo ba ang sinasabi mo? Mabuti pa at mag-isip ka anong gagawin dito? " agaran kong singhal.
And just like earlier, again, a firm no answer her wants.
And an idea popped into my mind upon hearing the word help.
"Hey, I know a way," saad ko dito at sinundan agad na simple lang ang gagawin namin kundi ang humingi ng tulong sa google. But Kyela looked at me with disbelief and massaged her temple.
"What's wrong with my idea Kyela? It's convenient and simple," I then asked, looking at her fervently.
That makes sense and valid.
Sandali muna akong nag-isip. If that's the only way, then why not? But wait, why asking for my yes if she can asks Drupe herself?
"Kyela, You can ask for his help yourself if that's the only way but why are you pleading with me?" I told her with my thought. However, her rebuttal question also got myself thinking why.
