This is a book about the Hanahaki disease. A disease caused by a form of heartbreak. If one person falls in love with another, but the other person does not have the same feelings, the person who experiences heartbreak basically gets sick.
The symptoms of this disease are:
1:Coughing blood, pettals and thorns
2:Intense sweating (Sometimes)
3:Feeling cold but actually being scolding hot
4: Being extremely tired/Dizzy (eventually leading to passing out)
5:Feeling nauseous from the amount of stuff in your throat.
6:Pain in the chest area (Since the blood and rose petals come from the lungs, so it would make sense)
These symptoms can lead to death if the love is not rekindled in a certain amout of time.
(Some of these symptoms may not actually be canonical to the original Hanahaki disease, but I wanted to add it in for the plot of the story.)
