"Okay. I trust you". A Kian Lawley & Sam Pottorff story

Chapter 8.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" I screamed trying to wiggle out of the strong arms of whoever grabbed me. I started hitting his hands to see if it would loosen the grip he had around my waist, when I seen the friendship bracelet I gave to Kian the day after we met. I stopped struggling and began laughing. I heard laughing from behind me as I was put back on the ground. I looked back to see Kian smiling devilishly at me.

"You're an jerk!" I said laughing and punched him in the stomach. "No need for that, now". "Kian, you scared me to death! What if someone actually tried to take me??" He looked surprised at how worked up I was. Being the person he is, he tried to make me laugh by saying, "Why would anyone want you?". It worked.

"Wanna come in? Or do you have too much 'homework'?", I asked putting air quotes around 'homework'.

"How'd you know I didn't have homework?" He asked following me into my house.

"It's the first day of school. And none of the rest of us have homework. I might be blonde, but I'm not stupid, Lawley!" I said giggling.

"I know. But I did need to help Aria rearrange her room." He said defending himself.

"I thought Aria was going to the movies with Eric?"

"Nope. Aria came home right after you went to Sam's. Eric had to film a video and she got tired.."

"Okay, can someone tell me what's going on and why you all lied to me??" I asked.

"You can't get mad, though! We did it for you!" He said.

"Yeah, yeah. Just tell me!!" I was getting impatient.

"Okay, okay. Well, we knew you and Sam liked each other, but you never spend time together. You know, just the two of you. So at lunch, when you were at the table, Aria, Eric and I made a plan to say that we were all busy the next time you or Sam offered to hang out. We knew neither of you would say no to hanging out, so you and Sam would end up being alone. And it worked!" He looked pretty proud of their little plan.

"Why did you guys want me and Sam to be alone? What did you think was gonna happen??"

"Well.. what did happen?" Kian asked.

I wasn't sure if I should tell Kian that Sam and I are dating. So, I told him I would be right back, and ran upstairs into the bathroom and texted Sam.

Billy:"Hey, um, Kian wants to know what happened.. Do you think we should tell them?"

Sam:"How about tomorrow when I'm there too? I wanna see their reaction too!"

Billy:"Alright babe.xox"

I ended up telling Kian I felt sick and that he should probably go home. Before leaving, he made me promise to tell him what happened tomorrow. I agreed and waved goodbye. I took a quick shower and went to sleep.

*He calls me up and he's like "I still love youuuuu".*

Alright Taylor Swift. I really don't feel like hearing about how you and one of your 30 boyfriends are never ever getting back together at 6am.(no hate,heh) I turn off my alarm and put my Ed Sheeran CD in the DVD player. It felt like an Ed Sheeran kind of morning.

"Give me love like her. Cause lately I've been waking up alone.." I sang as I curled my hair. Before I got changed, I made sure my curtains were closed. If Kian watched me dance around my room, who knows when he might just look out his window and into mine. The thought just creeped me out.

It was pretty warm out, so I pulled on my high-waisted pink shorts and a grey shirt with pink stripes. I tucked my shirt in and breakfast. I was ready quicker than I thought I would be, so I went over to Kian and Arias house.

"Who is it?" I heard Aria yell.

"Who do you think it is?" I yelled back.

"Just come in Billy!" Kian shouted. So I did.

"Heeeeeeeeey!" I said walking in finding them in the kitchen. "You look nice! For Sam?" She asked winking. I just laughed. "Hey, uh, Billy?" Kian said quietly. "What's up Kiki?" I said sliding into the chair next to him. "Can I talk to you outside?" he asked. "Uhm, okay.." I walked outside and waiting for Kian to come out. Did Sam tell him already? Is he mad that I didn't tell him? I was going to! I just didn't want to be alone with him when I did it. Just in case he get mad or started crying or something. I don't know!

"So, what's wrong?" I asked as Kian walked out to join me.

He looked me in the eyes and said, "Everything. I know about you and Sam. I like you Billy. I did ever since I first saw you. But I took too long to tell you, obviously. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you and Sam are together. He's a great guy. I just wish it was me.." That's not at all what I was expecting. Now, I wish he would have gotten mad at me instead. I was about to reply, when he kissed me. He leaned in and kissed me. Right in front of his house. For anyone to see. And no one saw it. Or, that's what I thought..

"LAWLEY!" I heard someone yell. Greeeeeeeeeeeeeat. A very pissed off looking Sam came up to us. "I tell you Billy and I are dating because you begged me all night to tell you what happened, and then you kiss her! Right here where I can see it!! What the hell?!" I was scared he was going to hit him or something, but then he turned to me. "We date for one day and you let him kiss you. You let my best friend kiss you. I bet you wouldn't even have told me unless I saw it for myself. Huh, would you?!" He was so angry. "Sam...." I said trying not to cry. "That's what I thought." He then pushed past me and walked away. I started to go after him, but Kian grabbed me. "Let him cool off. He'll be fine." I pulled out of Kians grip and said, "Why would you do that. Sam's pissed off at me now, and it's your fault!" I was yelling now. "I can't believe you'd do something so stupid!!" I then ran to my house. I heard Aria call my name, but I wasn't going out. I was staying here all day. The only good thing is that my dad isn't here to make me go to school. I slumped up the stairs and pulled on a big hoodie. I put my hair in a bun and decided to Skype Karley for the first time since I got here.

"Billy!" I heard an excited Karley say.

"Hey babyyyyyy" I said smiling. When she saw that I was crying, she made me explain. So, I told her everything. About when I first met Kian, to meeting Sam, and everything else. I wasn't planning on talking about Aria until she started going on about Rachel.

"Well, it was nice to talk to you finally! I have to go to school now, call or text me later! Bye babe!" Karley said stuffing something into a schoolbag.

"Alright! And if you see my mom, tell her to call me please?" I realized I haven't talked to my mom in awhile..

When Karleys face disappeared and the screen went black, I crawled into bed and slept. When I woke up, it was about 4. I slept for almost seven hours! I quickly got up and checked my phone. 7 new messages. 2 from Sam, 3 from Kian, 1 from dad, and 1 from Aria. I checked the one from dad first. His probably wouldn't make me want to cry.

Dad:"Hey Billy! How have you been? I hope you're doing fine on your own because my boss just called and said I would be staying here for atleast another week! Sorry, hun!"

Another week?! It has only been one week and he has to stay another? I will be by myself for 2 more weeks?! I didn't know how to answer, so I didn't. I next read Arias:

Aria:"Kian told me what happened. I'm worried about you! Can I come over later?"

Billy:"Yeah, you can come over whenever.."

Then there were the two people I really didn't want to talk to right now. I opened Sam's first.

Sam:"Hey babe. I'm really sorry. Aria told me what happened."

Sam:"Answer me please Billy. I miss you! I was just jealous, okay? Please?"

Billy:"It's okay Sam. Call me? :/"

Kians were the only ones left, I sighed and read them.

Kian:"I'm sorry."

Kian:"Please answer me."

Kian:"See, this is why I waited so long to tell you. I didn't want to ruin our friendship. Now I ruined mine and yours, and mine and Sam's. I'm such and idiot."

Billy:"Kian stop. You telling me isn't what made Sam mad. It was the kiss. And you didn't ruin our friendship. We'll get through this. I promise."
