**Two months later**

**Kians P.O.V**

It's Christmas break, and everything is back to normal. Eric is hanging out with us again, Aria and Billy are basically inseparable and we are all friends. Somewhere along the line, Sam asked Aria out again. He asked us first, making sure it was okay. We all said yes, agreeing that the past is behind us and there was no need to bring it up again.

Sure, it's weird seeing my best friend kiss my little sister, but I'll get used to it.

I'll just have to find a girl at Eric's party in a couple days. I wish I could date Billy. The only thing stopping me from asking her, is the thought of her rejecting me. I don't know if I could take it.

**A few days later**

**Billys P.O.V**

Everything is perfect. We are all best friends. The way it's supposed to be. Aria and Sam are just the cutest thing! He really makes her happy! I wasn't sure if I was going to be okay with it at first, but I'm actually not affected by it at all.

I will always love Sam, but not in a romantic way. I'm not really sure if I will ever trust love, but who knows. Maybe I will. But one thing is for sure, I like Kian. Yes. As much as I'd like to deny it, I can't. But, I'll probably have to forget about it. He could do so much better than me...

"HEY BILLY!" my thoughts were interrupted by Aria busting through my bedroom door.

"HEY ARIA!" I yelled back. She laughed and walked over to my bed. She set her bag down on my bed and started tearing things out. I saw makeup, dresses, heels, flats, skirts, shirts, and a flat iron. This should be good.

"Okay, so what exactly are you doing?!" I asked.

"Aren't we getting ready for the New Years party together?" She replied, giving me a look saying 'are you okay?!..'

"That's tonight?!" I forgot. Of course. I bought my dress last week, but I never thought of it since. I grabbed my phone and texted Kian.

Billy:"Hey! You going to the party tonight? I completely forgot until your obnoxious sister busted my door open and tore the place apart (;"

I set my phone down and started helping Aria pick out and outfit and get ready.

Aria was wearing a white sparkly fitted tanktop tucked into a light pink fairy skirt that came to about her knees. She paired it with a pair of black heels. We straightened her hair and she did her makeup.

I wore a red fitted dress with little ruffles all down it. It was sleeveless and came to just above my knees. With that, I wore black flats, curled my hair, and Aria did my makeup.

I have to admit, we looked pretty hot. Apparently the boys thought so too. When we met up with Kian and Sam to walk to the party, all they could do was stare.

"You look gorgeous." Sam said to Aria before pulling her in for a kiss. Aww!

"You look okay. Your hairs a little messed up." Kian said winking at me.

"How sweet, Lawley."

When we arrived at Eric's, there were a bunch of people there. The kid might only be 14, but he knew how to throw a party. We had to kick out a few older ones who came with liquor. Yeah, Yeah, party-poopers. But, I didn't want to be the one having to carry these kids home tomorrow. Someone else can do that.

It was really fun! I met a lot of new people, and I got quite a bit of compliments. It made we quite uncomfortable, but I just smiled and thanked them.

I had lost Sam, Aria and Kian atleast five times. I always ended up awkwardly standing by myself, which I was doing when someone came up from behind me and hugged me.

"Hey Bill."

"Hey, Hey Kiki." I turned to face him, grabbing his hands and holding them in mine. He then entangled our fingers. I could feel my face turn red, so looked away.

"Billy?"

"Yes, Kian?" I turned back to him and looked in his eyes.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Anything." I answered smiling.

"Do you love me?" he asked kind of shyly.

"Of course! We are really good friends!"

"Well, I, uh love you too! But there's a problem..."

"And what's that?" I don't see what the problem could be.

"I love you more than in just a friend way."

A million questions went through my mind in that moment. The one that kept coming up was 'Do I love Kian the way he loves me?' I knew I couldn't though. I didn't think it was possible for me to love someone like that.

I was about to reply when Kian said, "I know how hard this must be for you. But, you shouldn't be afraid to love. I will never hurt you."

The countdown began behind me. TEN...NINE..EIGHT...

"You promise?" I asked. SEVEN..SIX..FIVE..

"I promise." Kian replied. FOUR...THREE..

"Okay, I trust you." I said smiling. TWO.... ONE!!!!!!!!!

Kians lips crashed into mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and felt his around my waist. We stayed like this, until we needed to break for air.

"I love you Billy."

"I love you too, Kian."
