(Cass' POV)
*2 Weeks Later*
I begin to hear voices, murmuring, sounds. The beeping noise did annoying me to death. I feel everything. The stinging pain in my shoulder, the scrape on my cheek. I begin to open my eyes, and blinded by the overhead light. 'I haven't seen that for 2 weeks.' I open my eyes. I look at my surroundings. I'm in a hospital..lovely. I attempt to sit up more, wincing in pain. I look around. In a small chair, next to a table with the lamp, sat Brice. He had his headphones in and was looking down at his phone. As he looked up, he looks at me in shock.
"Cass?" He questions me as if he forgot about me.
"...Brice?" I say softly. My voice is rough from the lack of use. He sets his headphones down and comes over slowly and stares at me.
"Please...don't ever do that...again." Brice says with worry. I look down and try not to cry. I silently sob as I remember what happened. I hide my face behind my hand. 'Great, Brice thinks I'm weak. Just Great.' I shout at myself in my mind. I'm frozen as I feel arms hug me. I look up. He sits next to me and hugs me. I give a small smile. 'He's still nice to me?' My mind wonders. 'Maybe he doesn't hate me.'
"I need to head out." He looks at me. "There's someone who needs to talk to you." I stare in confusion.
"My mom?" I mean who else would need to see me? Brice pauses.
"Actually...Tre needed to talk to you."
