I walk down the hallways, wishing to disappear. I didn't want anyone to see my face, in fear of that everyone would notice my reddened eyes and gloomy appearance. I felt like id burst into tears at any moment. I don't say a word as I enter my homeroom on the 800 hall, wearing a fake smile to hide behind, like a mask.

"Hey Ginger." Adrien called out to me with one of my many iconic nicknames. I glance over.

"Hey Walrus." I reply back with his iconic nickname. 'Our friend group is very strange...' I think to myself. I notice his frown. 'Don't ask what's wrong, don't ask what's wrong' my mind shouts at me.

"What's wrong Cass?" He asks me with worry in his eye. 'FUCKING SHIT DAMNIT. Seriously?!'

"Nothing, I'm fine." I say with a small sigh, earning an eyebrow raise and a glare from Adrien.

"C'mon, just tell me." He says a bit demanding. He was then interrupted by Jessica, my other friend.

"Hey Phoenix!" She shouts happily with my other iconic nickname. She then notices my face and frowns. '...Please don't ask me what's wrong...' I think to myself the second time.

"Okay, what's wrong? Who do I torture today?" Jessica sarcastically asks. 'Why did you have to ask...?' I think to myself, mentally face-palming.

"Nothing is wrong. Plus nothing can be done about it." I say, mumbling the last part.

"Oh so there is something wrong!" Adrien exclaims with a smirk. I gather my books for my first class as Jessica and Adrien carry on a conversation. 'Well, I'm ready to get the day over with. How bad could one day be anyway?' Soon I would learn that one day could end horribly...
