"Papa, papa wake up. Nee-San and Mama made breakfast" the little girl said. "I'm up, go tell your mama I'll be there in a second" Giyu said "Okay, papa" the little girl said. Somethings wrong... I can't remember her name, and I don't know who she is. Hmm... wait why is my haori... different? Neither Sabito's nor Tsutako's haori is a part of it. And where are my scars? What did Kusho say again about Lower Six? Giyu thought getting dressed.

"Good morning, dear" Shinobu said "Good morning, Shinobu" Giyu said. "Father, your breakfast is on the table" Aoi said. Father... Aoi has never once called me anything but Oto-San... at least I think? Why can't I remember anything? Giyu thought. When Giyu finished his breakfast he went to grab his sword when he realized his Demon Slayer uniform wasn't in his closet. Where is my uniform? Aoi probably washed it. Giyu thought.

"Hey, Aoi" Giyu called out "Yes, Father" Aoi responded. "Did you wash my uniform? I probably have a mission to go on tonight" Giyu said "Father, do you not remember what happened on your last mission?" Aoi asked. "No, I don't" Giyu said as he tried to remember. "You were put out of commission by Upper Three. You never recovered fully, so Uncle Sabito took your place" Aoi said. Sa-sabito... but he's. Giyu began to grab his head out of pain. "FATHER" Aoi called out before Giyu lost consciousness.

Four hours later

"Oww, my head" Giyu said "Giichi lay down. You had one of your moments earlier" a familiar voice said. That... voice belongs to only one person... but she died... she died a year before him. Giyu thought. "Makomo?" Giyu said "Yes, Giichi?" Makomo asked. "H-how are you here... you're supposed to be dead" Giyu said "Well, that's a new one. You usually ask about Peachy and Tsutako" Makomo said.

"Makomo, we're here" Tsutako said "Sorry for being late dear" Sabito said. They're dead... they're supposed to be dead... that Upper Three... wait my last mission was on the Mugan Train... Shinobu told me she was pregnant three weeks ago... and Kusho said that Lower Six's Blood Demon Art affects dreams. Is this a dream or are my memories coming from a dream? I and Inosuke have something to tell you" Aoi said "What is it Aoi?" Giyu asked. "Well, me and Inosuke... got engaged" Aoi said hiding Inosuke behind her. Giyu stared down Aoi before Shinobu was able to intervene "Dear, Aoi is twenty-four. She can make her own decisions about love" Shinobu said. Twenty-four? She's sixteen. Giyu thought. "Fine... I guess I can allow it. Uz... Tengen, is Kusho around?" Giyu asked.

"So, it's gotten worse huh? Kusho died to protect you from Upper Three" Tengen answered. This is a dream. Giyu thought after getting a confirmation. "Funny, because Kusho promised me that... he'll only die by my hands after every demon was dead" Giyu said grabbing his blade. Sabito grabbed Giyu by the arm asking him "What are you doing" "What Kusho instructed. If you keep me from doing that, I'll have to use force" Giyu answered. As Giyu went to grab his sword, he felt the floor under him shaking. "The hell? An earthquake?" Giyu asked."Papa, papa!" A girl's voice pierced through Giyu's dream.

"That's not how you wake your father up" Tengen said, standing beside Giyu as he slept in the waiting room of the Butterfly Hospital "Like this" Tengen knocked Giyu out of the chair he was sleeping in. "What the hell, Tengen?" Giyu woke up, punching Tengen in the arm. Tengen motioned to the three children trying to get Giyu's attention.

"Hmm? What is it Sabito, Makomo, Tsutako?" Giyu asked the triplets "Papa, big sister wants you" Tsutako answered. "Yeah, she gave birth an hour ago" Sabito stated "It was twins, a boy and a girl" Makomo added. "Did Mama and Aunt Kanae okay people coming in?" Giyu asked "Yeah, they did" Makomo answered. "Then we can go in" Giyu walked into the labor room, hushing Tsutako, Sabito, and Makomo.
