When the four got to the Ubuyashiki estate all of the other Hashira and Kagaya were waiting for them at the gates. "See I told you to surround me with wisteria. Now look Sanemi is going to have a little tantrum" Kusho joked though only he found it funny. "Kanae mind explaining this crime against the corps?" Sanemi asked as Kanae tried to even reason with herself if this was even right. "W-we-well this is Ku-" Kanae began to explain as Kusho cut her off. "I am Karito Kusho, Lower Moon One and the biggest threat to Muzan Kibutsuji. I offered them my head but they took the other route and now I'm here to, let's say infiltrate and give information. C'mon lighten up you all act like your family just died" Kusho said as the other Hashiras and Kagaya were surprised Kusho was still alive. "Kusho, you know that all of us Hashira have lost a family member or our family in general right?" Giyu asked which Kusho laughed at confirming that Kusho was just fucking with them.

"You know, you Hashira aren't that strong if you're supposed to kill the Upper Moons let alone Muzan" Kusho stated. "What do you mean?" Gyomei asked "What I mean is, I can't sense the overwhelming power of the slayer mark in any of you. This means you six also don't have the Transparent World or Red Blades. These three things will help you kill the Upper Moons and fight Muzan, especially if any of you use the Breath of the Sun." Kusho said confusing everyone. Kyojuro thought that Kusho misnamed Flame Breath calling it "Breath of the Sun" but Kusho's knowledge and how he spoke made Kyojuro doubt himself.

"So this flashy-sounding breathing technique is just another way of saying Flame Breathing right?" Tengen asked. "No, well not exactly Flame Breathing, if I remember correctly, it's one of the closest descendants of the Breath of the Sun. Though the actual closest breathing technique to Breath of the Sun is Breath of the Moon" Kusho said making everyone even more confused, Shinobu was about to ask a question about the Breath of the Moon and Sun, but was interrupted by Kusho slowly turning to ash though Kusho didn't feel himself turning to ash.

"Kusho get to the shade now" Kagaya said worriedly making all of the Hashira shocked by Kagaya's words "Hmm, the shade why? Oh... the sun didn't that crow tell you that one of my three BDAs allows me to block out the sun" Kusho asked as he got up to face the sun.

Kusho then sat back down after he made a Lunar Eclipse and covered the estate in heavy fog. "Let us continue though we're gonna have to speed things up after all the Eclipse will only be up for an hour, with the fog dissipating not long after" Kusho said. If Kusho was under the will of Muzan all of humanity would be wiped out in only a night. Giyu thought. "When you talk about the Breath of the Sun you make it sound like there isn't any current user unlike the Breath of the Moon," Shinobu said. Kusho looked at Shinobu and then looked off into the distance as if he was looking for someone "That's because the current Breath of the Sun user is dead but it now goes by a different name as it's a ritual or a dance if you will. It's called the Hinokami Kagura and the boy who will use it will be monumental." Kusho said while looking into Giyu's eyes "And the Breath of the Moon user is currently Upper Moon One though, his two descendants will be prodigies in the Demon Slayer Corps" Kusho said.

"I have one request for you Karito" Kagaya said to which Kusho hummed in response "If it's not much trouble for you, could you help us against Muzan" Kagaya asked. Kusho looked over to Giyu and then back at Kagaya "Of course I will. In fact, I'll even stall Muzan until you are ready for the final war Mr. Ubuyashiki, and ensure those twin prodigies stay safe and join the corps. Though faking memories as an Upper Moon  will be near  impossible, so  I'll only allow Tomioka to contact me as he knows the town I reside at." Kusho said while leaving.

Before Kusho left Giyu quickly asked Kusho a question. "Kusho can you bring people back to life" Giyu asked desperately which made Kusho look back at Giyu saddened at what Giyu asked. "Yes I can but only if they weren't turned into a demon. Even then I'll need to take the life of the person requesting for their life to continue in order to keep a balance" Kusho said as he looked at all of the souls taken far too early around the Hashiras, he then took his leave using his Reality BDA to vanish back to the town he resides in.
