Before she went into the estate she went into the part of the estate dedicated to Tsutako and talked with her. "I'm sorry for, running away Tsutako-San I know Oto-San was very worried about me. I was irrational and stupid when I ran away because he was emotional and was looking out for my safety" Aoi apologized to Tsutako until she heard what sounded like screaming. Was that... Lady Shinobu? If she's screaming does that mean something bad happened to Oto-San? Aoi thought panicked and rushed into the estate.

As Aoi busted open the front door of the estate, Giyu and Shinobu covered themselves up with some covers when Giyu remembered he didn't lock the door of his room. "Lady Shinobu Is Oto-San, o... kay" Aoi said as she slammed open the door to Giyu's room seeing the two covered up in bed together. "... So-sorry for int-interrupting" Aoi said embarrassed closing the door.

Giyu and Shinobu were embarrassed about Aoi busting in on them, and they got dressed. When the two got dressed they went to the living area as Giyu began to make ramen for Aoi. "S-so... Lady Shinobu what... are you going to wear at Mitsuri-Sama's party?" Aoi asked Shinobu trying to break to tension. "Maybe a dress... or a simple Kimono" Shinobu replied as Aoi's eyes lit up. "You should let me help you pick your outfit out" Aoi said excitedly "Sorry I already promised Mitsuri that I would let her pick out my outfit" Shinobu said. "But Mitsuri-Sama doesn't know what my Oto-San likes... unlike me" Aoi said as Shinobu agreed to let Aoi help.

After Giyu was done

Giyu brought out the ramen for the three of them as they sat around the table and ate. "Aoi, how is your progress coming along as a Demon Slayer" Giyu asked Aoi. "It's great, I'm already a Kinoe rank" Aoi said with a smile "That's good to hear, soon you can become a Hashira" Giyu said. "You know if Aoi is going to be the new Water Hashira. It would help if you took her as your Tsuguko" Shinobu suggested as Aoi looked a little unsure. "You know that's a great idea Shinobu. Aoi how would you feel about being my Tsuguko" Giyu asked. Aoi didn't know how to respond, but she knew that Giyu was no longer worried about her safety and fully believed in her capabilities as a Demon Slayer. "I would love to be your Tsuguko" Aoi said with a bright smile.

"I know that Lady Shinobu gave you this special notice to leave the Butterfly Mansion for this one thing... but I don't feel like you're ready for this. I mean you just got in and just got medicated" Aoi said to Tanjiro. "Well, Aoi if Shinobu is okay with it and Kanae is okay with it then it would be fine" Giyu said as he forced Zenitsu's medicine down his throat. "Oto-San I appreciate your help but, you can't treat patients like that. Need I remind you you're technically still a patient" Aoi said surprising Zenitsu and Tanjiro, and confusing Inosuke. "A Hashira is your father" Tanjiro and Zenitsu exclaimed "What's so important about that? He just looks like an ordinary guy" Inosuke said slightly hurting Giyu's pride.

"Yes, he is. And as for you, a Hashira is one of the strongest Demon Slayers in the corps with there only being eleven of them as of late. Though I could've been one a few weeks ago" Aoi said proudly "While you could've you would still have to wait until I gave up my position. Exactly why you're my Tsuguko" Giyu reminded hurting Aoi's pride. "You know, Muichiro could cover for me until Kusho gets there. I'm sure that Uzui and Mitsuri would understand" Yuichiro said as Ane shook her head. "No, you and Genya will go to that party together. Me and Muichiro will accompany Kamado" Ane said with Muichiro's eyes pleading to Aoi not to let Ane do that. "Well, I can accompany Bokajiro" Inosuke said confusing everyone but Tanjiro and Zenitsu. "Uhh... sure I guess you could... but I don't want you to as from our first enc..." Aoi said until Giyu cut her off.

"Aoi, don't worry about him. Remember you also never met Kusho, just heard stories about him. And from what you've told me about Hashibira... those two could... get... along... fine" Giyu said with a murderous tone. "Oto-San, I don't need you to have a questionable moral super demon to kill some just because you don't like them" Aoi said sticking up for Inosuke. "Actually that's not a bad idea" Yuichiro said shocking Aoi. "What's not a bad idea? Yui, please don't tell me you're agreeing with my Oto-San" Aoi pleaded.
