OLIVER POV

"Look at this!" I said, showing Kate the Instagram notification where Dylan had followed me.

"No way," she said, grabbing my phone, "He's totally falling for you,"

I rolled my eyes, but in reality I had a hope there was some truth to her words.

In Chemistry, we were doing a lab. We had lab goggles and gloves on.

"Dude, look at yourself," I said to Dylan. He looked hilarious.

He looked at his phone and laughed. He took a picture of both of us.

"This is so cool," Dylan said, watching the blue flame of the Bunsen burner.

"Wow, tutoring is really working," I said, "You think Chemistry is cool,"

He flipped me off.

"Harsh!" I said.

For some reason, that made us laugh so hard.

He finally stopped when he realized Mrs. Thorpe was watching us.

"Sorry," we both said to her. She nodded her head and turned away from us.

"You're gonna get us kicked out of this class," I said, still laughing.

"That wouldn't be such a bad thing, would it?" He asked. My stomach fluttered.

"You're coming tonight, right?" Kate asked.

It was the first baseball game, and most of the school was going to be there.

I had some motivation to go.

"Of course I'll be there," I said.

"Of course," she teased.

"I'll sit with Lauren," I joked, "We can both bond over how much we like Dylan,"

She playfully hit my shoulder "Okay, but it should be fun. Especially for you,"

I gave her a look.

"Just picturing those baseball pants,"

I opened my mouth, shocked at what she said.

"Kate!" I said.

She laughed.

As I got ready for the game in my room, Lilly walked in.

"Hey," she said, taking a seat on my bed, "Where are you going?"

"The baseball game," I said, nonchalantly.

"You and Dylan are getting close," she said.

I was surprised when Lilly didn't press me with questions about Dylan. She never even questioned it when she walked in on us in the kitchen. She just told me that she thought it was nice of me to tutor him.

"Yeah, he's a good friend," I said. I tried to change the subject before she grew suspicious. "Wanna come?"

"No," she said, "It's freezing out there. You enjoy. I'll be in my warm PJ's,"

I laughed.

I wore a green crew neck, jeans, and black converse to the game. Neither Tyler or Claire wanted to spend their Friday night watching a baseball game that "was gonna be 4 hours long." So, Kate and I sat on the bleachers with some other classmates.

The team came out onto the field, my eyes immediately finding Dylan. He always stood out no matter where he was. He just had a glow, from his smile I assume. He looked really cute in a baseball uniform.

Kate looked at me and smiled. I smiled back.

He was really good. He quickly got a home run and looked around the bleachers. Surprisingly, Lauren was nowhere to be found.

I watched as he spotted me. He did a double take. He waved at me, and turned around with a smile on his face.

They ended up winning, Dylan scoring a few of those points.

Kate and I got up, making our way off the bleachers and towards the parking lot.

"Jeez, your boyfriend is really good," she said.

I rolled my eyes at her, "Yeah yeah,"

"Watch out, he's coming," Kate said.

I tried my best to act natural.
