DYLAN POV

Hanging out with Oliver's friends had been so much fun. I didn't expect to have as much as fun as I did. Tyler was actually really cool— and not dumb like Oliver had said he was. Kate was fun and interesting to talk to, it was no shock why her and Oliver were best friends. Claire was quiet, but the moments we did talk were nice.

I threw my keys onto the counter and walked upstairs into my room.
I found myself looking at Oliver's Instagram. I scrolled and scrolled until I last track of time.

He was fresh in my mind after our legs had been touching the whole game. It felt oddly comforting.

I stumbled upon an old photo of him and Claire snuggled up on a couch, and for some reason, my chest burned. Her head was lying on his shoulder while they both smiled at the camera. I hadn't even considered them being a thing— they hadn't seemed like a thing tonight, but you never know.

Thinking of about Oliver being with a girl stung my chest in a way I'd never felt before. My phone quickly slipped out of my hands onto my chest.

Holy shit.

I liked Oliver.
