Infected was coughing more recently, and in fact his body temperature was cold, like TOO cold. Freezing, even. Pest was worried, but there was a VERY simple answer to why Infected was like this.

He was sick, he had a cold. A bad one.
So he stayed home, didn't enter the elevator for the day.

Pest went to Infected's apartment, using the elevator as his transport, he walked into Infected's little apartment room, Infected was snoozing on his sofa (or couch,,) , taking cold medicine, and coughing, badly. His throat was like damaged, his voice was weak. Pest sat next to him whilst he layed on the sofa, covered in blankets. He got close to Infected and prepared some meal, breakfast - for Infected. It was pancakes. He put it nearby on the couch, and before leaving gave Infected a smooch on his forehead. " Love ya, Infected .. " (THIS SOUNDS SO OUT OF CHARACTER OF PEST IM SORRYYYY 😭😭🙁🙁) before leaping out the apartment using the elevator. (well regretevator actually *snort* 🤓☝️ /j)

Infected woke up, smiling at the sight of the pancakes left nearby him, he ate them immediately. And then just.. went back to sleep. 🧑‍🦲
