Chapter 10- This is the Life

KIANS POV:

I wake up around 6:30 this morning even though class doesn't start for me for another two hours. I was up all night trying to start my research project. To be honest with you, I could do it myself, but it was an excuse to see Amelia. There is something about her that I can't quite put my finger on. But, she is amazing. Ever since I met her, I can't get her out of my mind. I fall back asleep when all of a sudden I feel water spill on my face.

"JC! WHAT THE FUCK MAN?" I scream and move my phone out of the way so it doesn't get wet.

"It's time to wake up, bitch. Class starts in 15 minutes, and we are going in together today, and I don't wanna be late! What are you, boh moh seh moh or something?" Jc laughs and walks out of the room to let Wishbone outside.

"JC! Let hazel out too!" I scream.

I pull a tissue from my bedside table and whipe the water off of my face. JC always does this, he can't just wake up me up like a normal person, he has to throw water on my face. I get up, and get in the shower, and do my hair, and check my phone. Nothing. Maybe Amelia is waiting for me text her? Or should I wait for her to text me? I text her anyways.

'Good morning, sunshine. See you at starbucks today at 2:30?' I hesitate at first and then press 'send'

"KIAN! Hurry up, we're gonna be late for class!" Jc shouts.

"I'm coming, bitch." I say while putting my phone into my pocket, hoping she replies soon. The agony of waiting for her to reply, kills me. God. She's so beautiful. I think about her all the time, and we aren't even together yet. Does she even want me to be her boyfriend? Am i being too forward? I get into JC's car because on Tuesday's we have the same class, no need to take two cars, and I light up a cigarette.

"Dude, let me get one of those" Jc pleads.

"Dude, no, this is my 3rd to last one" I say and shake my head. "You haven't smoked cigarette in like a month you said, don't start again, that's just fucking stupid."

"Kian, me and Jane are fighting because I didn't pick her up at school yesterday because fucking JJ needed my car, and I didn't realize she would be stuck at school, I'm stressed, give me one!" JC shouts.

"Fine. God. When your lungs are black don't say i didn't warn your dumb ass!" I agree and hand him a cigarette.

"Fuck you, Kian your lungs are already black!"
He has a point.

We pull up to the class, and get to class, and JC sits down next to me. It's now 9:00, and Amelia still hasn't answered. Maybe she hasn't checked her phone. I put it on the desk and feel it vibrate. I look at it, and it's Amelia. My heart skips a beat.

'Morning cutie! I'll see you there. I'll call you when i'm on my way. Don't be late :)'

I smile down at my phone, and JC looks over at me and shakes his head and whispers to me, "Kian and Amelia sittin' in a tr-" I interrupt him "Fuck off JC" I say back in a stern voice. I can finally focus knowing that I'm going to see Amelia later. This day is going to be great.

AMELIA'S POV:

Ugh. I woke up late. Mom left for work early, and I forgot to set my alarm. Great. Chemistry is 4th period, and it's already 9:45 I have like no time to get there. I jump in the shower, and see if Kian answered my text, nothing yet. Oh well, he's probably focusing in class. I run downstairs, and jump in my car and head to school. I see Jane at her locker right after the bell rings, meaning period 3 is over.

"Are you and JC still fighting?" I ask.

"Mel, I don't even know. I love him, but he texted me this morning apologizing. Every time we get into a fight, he starts smoking cigarettes again. It's like some sort of nervous thing he does, I guess." Jane says sadly.

"Don't worry, you and JC literally fight all the time, trust me, he loves you too. Give it time." I smile and hug her from the side.

"He just texted me" Jane says in excitement.

"How do you know? You didn't even look at your phone screen!" I say.

"I have it set to the 'heartbeat' vibration, duh" She laughs and looks at her phone.

"What he say?" I ask.

"He said he's sorry, and is for sure picking me up after school today to talk" Jane says.

"Are you gonna let him?" I ask.

"Well, yeah. But, I'm not gonna forgive him so easily" Jane says.

"Yeah, okay. Well, I've got to get to chemistry, wish me luck" I say and smile while pulling out my phone to see Kian answered me.

'I won't be late, Amelia, see you then beautiful. Good luck on your test. You'll do great'

I smile and reply with 'Thanks :)'

He is so incredibly awesome. I sit down in class and Dr. Turna hands out the tests, and I am already sweating. He grades test so fast, he grades them as soon as I hand them in. He's a fast grader. I finally finish my test, and hand it in. 15 minutes later and Dr. Turna calls me up to his desk.

"Amelia Rose, Come here for a second" Dr. Turna says with a half smirk.

I walk up to his desk.

"Yes?" I ask.

"You got the best grade so far out of the 2 classes I've had today. Good job, you got a 98, congratulations" Dr. Turna says giving me my test back and i smile with enjoyment and text my mom and tell her the good news, I also text Kian and tell him. I can go to the party friday night, this is great.

Kian's POV:

Class is finally over, and I leave with JC, and smoke another cigarette in the car. I plug in my headphones, because I hate the music that JC listens to. I get home at around 12:45, and decide to take a nap before seeing Amelia. I can't wait to see her beautiful face.

I wake up at 2:00, and brush out my hair and change my clothes, get into my car, and head down to Starbucks. I get a call at 2:15 from her, and she says she's on her way now. I am a little early, so I wait for her to get here and I get out of the car when I see her.

"Hey beautiful" I say confronting her giving her a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Hi Kian" Amelia says smiling

We walk into Starbucks, and I hand her a cup of coffee.

"So, what do you need help with?" She asks smiling.

"Oh, me and JC finished it in class today, I just wanted to see you" I laugh while she hits me in the arm lightly.

"KIAN! Ugh, come on!" She says laughing. "But, that's very sweet of you."

"What time do you have to be home today?" I ask.

"Around 8:00, it's a school night, mom wants me home early again." She rolls her eyes.

"It's only 3:00, do you wanna maybe go to a movie?" I suggest.

"I don't have any money" She says looking down.

"I'll pay for you. Don't worry about it." I say and stand up and go to my car while she follows behind.

We get to the movies, and we decide on seeing something scary. I love scary movies, and so does she. We agree on seeing Annabelle. I've heard it's not that bad, but who knows. Any day with Amelia is a good day. I mean look at her, she's beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
