Dr. Andrews gives me a sweet grin. "Well, hi, Jesse? How are you?"

I muster a faint smile through my fury, manipulating her with my glass eyes for to believe I completely 100% mean it. "I'm doing fine. And you?"

"Good." she says. "Be a good girl, and I'll let you go outside tonight."

I don't reply. Mr. Smith is already closing the doors to the turbine.

The turbine is nothing special. Really. It's just a washing machine.

I watch the doctor pull the door close, once he places me in and closes the door.

Being a manipulator, I could just get away, and escape this torure. But it'd do no good. I'm not the only mutant they use as their little police dogs.

That's why... tonight... I plan to escape.

The turbine starts, my mouth opens in a silent scream. The turbine baldes whip my body, turning me in cycles that make me dizzy enough for me to puke. My blood pools around me. Crimson red and like colored water. Call me crazy, but I like that color.

An hour passes.

Two more.

I fall unconscious. My vision fades dark.
