The bustling cafeteria of Seoul High was alive with the usual lunchtime chaos. Students scattered around, some enjoying the open playground, others exploring the school gallery, and many gathered in the bustling cafeteria to savor their meals. Among them was Jungkook sharing a moment of laughter with his friends.

"Hmm... Someone will be on seventh sky," Eunwoo teased, poking Jungkook's cheeks.

Jungkook chuckled, attempting to dismiss the notion. "Stop, Woonie... There's nothing like that. Maybe he was just consoling me because of his humble nature."

The exchange continued, with Lisa giving Eunwoo a stern look. "Ok Kook, we understood what you were trying to say," Lisa added, shooting a glare at Eunwoo. "Yup, guys, let's focus on food now," Jimin suggested, slurping his soup and casting a friendly smile Jungkook's way. Laughter filled the air as they continued to enjoy their meal.

However, Jungkook's attention drifted to the corner where he usually shared moments with his favorite person. His smile faded as he noticed the empty seat, a silent reminder of someone missing from his lunchtime routine. Despite the teasing from his friends, he rejoined their conversation with a heavy heart.

On the other side of the bustling cafeteria, Namjoon entered alone, his search for Tae proving unsuccessful. Sitting down with his food, he muttered to himself, "Where is Tae? I tried to find him, but I don't know where he went." And started to munching the food from the plate.

Jungkook's hopeful eyes scanned that specific cafeteria counter once again, and this time, he noticed Namjoon sitting alone. In his mind, he urged himself, "Like seriously, he is alone, not with his bored nerd best friend. Jungkook, this is a sign from God.

Determination sparked in Jungkook's eyes. "Guys, I'll be back," he declared, notifying his friends before heading towards the specific corner. However, fate had other plans, and a loud collision echoed through the canteen as Jungkook accidentally bumped into someone – none other than Kim Taehyung.

Oblivious to the identity, Jungkook cursed, "Ahhhh... What the hell. Are you blind or what?" then he heard a groan, the deep voice of the person sounded similar to him and alerted his invisible bunny ears and started praying to God with his closed eyes to made his guess wrong. He opened his eyes and "Shit" he cursed again because his guess was right and other person was none other than Kim Taehyung.

"I..I am sorry" Jungkook mumbled while stuttering. He tried to stand up but today fate was not in his favor so he stumbled and fell again. Meanwhile Taehyung was noticing each and every expression on Jungkook face then he noticed students gathered around, whispers intensified, with some girls insinuating that Jungkook was seeking attention.

Taehyung's groan caught Jungkook's attention. Teahyung instantly sensed the everyone's gaze and said coldly and loudly, "Oh God, please make me invisible. Can you please stop moving and stop embarrassing both of us in front of the whole school?" After hearing Taehyung's words Jungkook become sad and angry and jutted his lips in a cute pout and this action was did not unnoticed by Taehyung and and tilted his face up towards the source of voice.

Jungkook's expression shifted to a cute pout, evoking a reaction from Taehyung. "Now stop making faces and let me help both of us," Taehyung suggested. The boys stood up with Taehyung's assistance, and Jungkook, still apologetic, mumbled, "Sorry, it was my fault."

As Taehyung turned away, Jungkook noticed the mess on his uniform. "I'm so sorry for spoiling your uniform due to my carelessness," he apologized again, the pout persistent. Instead of a scolding, a sigh escaped Taehyung, who then moved away towards Namjoon, leaving Jungkook in a mix of emotions.

Huffing in frustration, Jungkook muttered to himself, "How rude." Unbeknownst to him, a subtle smile graced Taehyung's face which instantly disappeared as he approached his friends, who were shocked and silent during the whole drama and not believing their eyes what they saw earlier that Taehyung neither reacted nor shouted on Jungkook the way he always used to do.

Meanwhile, Taehyung settled beside his best friend, Namjoon, who was still processing the unusual turn of events. "Hey, Taehyung, where were you earlier? I was waiting for you, but you didn't appear, so I came here," Namjoon questioned, concern etched on his face.

"Finish your lunch, Namjoon. I'm going to the restroom to clean my uniform," Taehyung replied, about to leave. However, Namjoon halted him with concern, "OK bro, but what about your lunch? You didn't eat anything?"

"Don't worry, buddy. I'll have something and see you in class," Taehyung assured, heading towards the exit door of the canteen. Namjoon waved, still bewildered by the unfolding drama.

As Taehyung bid bye to his friend, he made his way out of the bustling canteen and towards the solitude of the washroom. The air was thick with the scent of detergent and soap as he entered, seeking refuge from the chaos of the day. Leaning against the cold slab of the washbasin, he sighed and turned on the tap, ready to give his uniform a much-needed cleaning.

With care, Taehyung began to wipe away the stains on his t-shirt. His mind wandered, and out of nowhere, the image of a certain boy from his recent encounter flashed before his eyes. A smile tugged at the corners of his lips, unbidden. He shook his head, attempting to dismiss the sudden warmth that enveloped him. "Why am I smiling like a fool for no reason?" he muttered to himself, refocusing on the task at hand.

As he gazed into the mirror, the boy's face lingered in his thoughts. Taehyung tried to shake off the distraction, but the memory persisted. His reflection seemed to betray the secret joy he felt, prompting a self-conscious chuckle. "I must be going crazy," he mumbled under his breath.

In the midst of his internal monologue, Taehyung decided it was time to part ways with his now-wet t-shirt. Frustration seeped into his voice as he realized the stubborn stains refused to disappear. "Ugh, why is this not coming off? And of course, I don't have a spare t-shirt," he grumbled, annoyance evident in his tone.

He was so engrossed in his task that he didn't even notice when someone else entered the washroom. But as soon as he heard a gasp, he turned around and saw Jungkook standing there, his eyes fixed on Taehyung's upper body and that startled Taehyung. In rushed Jungkook, a boy who had been a constant presence in Taehyung's day, much to his dismay. Caught off guard, Taehyung's eyes widened, and he let out an involuntary "Oh."

"What are you doing here?" Taehyung snapped, his voice filled with anger and embarrassment. Jungkook, seemingly oblivious to the tension in the room, exclaimed, "Sorry!" His eyes widened as he noticed Taehyung in the midst of changing. Taehyung, feeling a mix of embarrassment and frustration, snapped in his deep voice, "Now what's left? Why are you following me even into the washroom?"

Jungkook, realizing the awkwardness of the situation, stammered out a series of apologies. 'I-I came to wash my hands,' he said, avoiding Taehyung's gaze.

He explained that he had only come in to clean himself, innocent of any ill intentions. Before Taehyung could respond, Jungkook hastily retreated, the door slamming behind him, leaving Taehyung alone once more.

Regaining his composure, Taehyung shook his head, muttering to himself, "Can't catch a break, even in the washroom." The lingering smile from earlier returned, a perplexing blend of irritation and amusement. As he continued with his task, Taehyung couldn't help but wonder what the universe had in store for him, delivering unexpected encounters in the most inconvenient of places.
