Chapter- 08

In a high school classroom, students were taking their seats as the bell rang. Mrs. Lee entered the room with an air of authority, ready to impart knowledge to her attentive pupils. However, her eyes quickly caught sight of the meticulously redecorated blackboard, an artistic collaboration that involved Jungkook, Namjoon, and even the enigmatic Taehyung. A genuine smile graced Mrs. Lee's face as she commended their efforts.

"I must say, that Jungkook, you have done an outstanding job" She praised him and then turned her head toward and also praised Taehyung and Namjoon, "Taehyung and Namjoon, you both also done a good job by helping Jungkook.

"Jungkook, Namjoon, and Taehyung, excellent work on the blackboard. Your creativity truly shines," she expressed, earning approving nods from classmates. The acknowledgment from their teacher elevated their spirits, setting a positive tone for the class.

She started the lecture and the students were deeply focused on the lecture soon class was about to end.

"So before leaving the class, I have an important announcement to make. As you all know, the final selection of your streams for further studies is approaching. In just two months, we will have an exam to determine which stream suits you best. So, I expect all of you to prepare well for it. This exam will not only help you choose your future path but also shape your career." She announced.

A collective gasp echoed through the room, followed by a wave of murmurs as the weight of the upcoming challenge settled on everyone's shoulders.

"Wishing you all the best of luck. Remember, if any of you need any guidance or have any doubts regarding your stream selection, feel free to come and meet me in the staff room. Remember, your hard work and dedication will determine your success in life", Mrs. Lee reassured the class. With that, she dismissed them, reminding them of the gravity of the upcoming exam that would shape their academic trajectories.

The bell signaled the end of the period, and students poured out like a rushing river, their conversations swirling with anxieties and aspirations.

After the class ended, it was break time and the students started to chat with their friends.

Jungkook was talking to his friends Jimin, Eunwoo, and Lisa. All of them were discussing the coming exam as they decided their streams for their new semester except Jungkook.

Jungkook, a lone boat caught in the current, found himself swept away to the bustling courtyard, surrounded by the murmur of his friends.

"I still haven't decided which stream to choose. I'm so confused." Jungkook said in between the conversation.

Jimin said excitedly, "I've already decided to go for humanities, just like my boyfriend Yoongi. We have similar future plans."

Eunwoo was smiling while looking at Lisa and said, "Lisa and I have decided to study music. We both have a passion for it. And luckily, our parents are in the entertainment industry."

Soon Jimin left the group as his boyfriend called him to spend time together and Jungkook saw Eunwoo and Lisa were also lost in their own world. And not forget Eunwoo and Lisa were now in a healthy and beautiful relationship.

Now Jungkook left them alone and took his seat beside that cold, rude nerd boy.

Amidst the animated chatter, Jungkook found himself at a crossroads, the only member of their tight-knit group yet to decide on a stream and future plan. An air of uncertainty hung around him as he sought solace at his desk, where the usually reserved Taehyung sat, immersed in his own thoughts.

Sipping on banana milk and sketching in his notebook, Jungkook tried to drown out the noise of his own indecision.

Suddenly, Namjoon's presence disrupted the solitude. A friendly knock on the desk accompanied by a warm greeting made Jungkook smile. However, Namjoon's gaze shifted to Taehyung, who regarded him with raised eyebrows.
