In the vibrant atmosphere of Rain's house, the group of Guardians enjoyed their time together. Laughter, magical discussions, and the occasional clink of glasses filled the air. Furie who was beside Ash, unable to ignore the curious glances exchanged between him and the fire-themed message spheres that flew to him.
As Ash saw the spheres flying towards him, a shadow of sadness crossed his face. Furie, concerned for her friend, was about to inquire when Ash swiftly pocketed the notes without reading them, changing the subject to divert attention.
"So, Furie, you won't believe the new duty I've been assigned in the human world!" Ash announced with a gleam in his eyes, eager to share the exciting news. Furie, sensing Ash's desire to shift focus, played along. "Oh, really? Do tell! I'm all ears." Ash grinned, leaning in to share the details. "I've been entrusted with guarding one of the relics in your old world—a dormant volcano! Can you believe it?" The group erupted in cheers, congratulating Ash on his new responsibility. Furie, caught up in the celebratory atmosphere, couldn't help but smile at her friend's enthusiasm. "An old volcano, Ash? That's quite the fiery duty you've got there!" Zephyr chimed in, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. Ash nodded proudly. "Absolutely! I'm excited about it. It's a unique challenge, and I'm looking forward to ensuring the relic's safety. Especially since I have heard it needed more Guardians' watch, after the acceleration of shadows' attacks." Leaf was not surprised to hear other relics were being harassed by shadows' attack, just like the oak tree he was so fond of guarding. The earth Guardian quickly explains to his friend how he was a little worried about the obscure world and their increase of shadows. Everyone agreed with Leaf and exchanged a couple of stipulations about what they thought could be happening in the obscure world.
As the conversation flowed seamlessly from one topic to another, Furie couldn't shake off the concern about the unopened messages in Ash's pocket. Yet, in the spirit of the moment, she decided to let the matter rest for now, allowing her friend to revel in the joy of his newfound duty and the company of his friends. The Guardians continued to enjoy their time together, basking in the camaraderie that bound them as protectors of the natural world.
The atmosphere in Rain's house was filled with laughter and warmth as the group of Guardians continued their discussions and shared moments of joy. Drinks were flowing, and the friends reveled in each other's company. As the night progressed, Rain, with a mischievous glint in his eyes, stood up, capturing the attention of his fellow Guardians. He cleared his throat, a playful smile dancing on his lips. "Alright, Guardians! It's time I tell you why I've invited all of you over tonight." Furie, unable to contain her curiosity, chimed in, "Come on, Rain! Don't keep us in suspense. Spill the water beans!" Ash, equally eager, added, "Yeah! What's the big reveal?"
Zephyr and Leaf, on the other hand, maintained their calm, exchanging knowing glances at the playful impatience displayed by Furie and Ash. Rain, still smiling, decided to tease his friends a bit more. "Well, it's better that I show you." With a focused expression, he conjured a ball of wind magic in his hands—his mesmerizing air element finally controlled. The room filled with an ethereal glow as the magical sphere shimmered in the air. Air currents twirled around Rain's hands, creating a mesmerizing dance of his favorite element. Furie, Ash, Zephyr, and Leaf watched in awe as Rain effortlessly manipulated his new skills.
Furie's eyes widened with amazement. "Rain, you can control both water and air now? That's incredible!" Ash, caught between excitement and disbelief, added, "I never thought I'd see the day when you'd master air magic, Rain. This is awesome!" Zephyr and Leaf, though less surprised, shared smiles of genuine happiness for their friend. Rain, basking in the admiration of his fellow Guardians, felt a sense of accomplishment and joy. The friends continued to revel in the magical display, celebrating Rain's newfound ability.
The room buzzed with excitement and celebration as the Guardians praised Rain for his newfound ability to control both water and air. Leaf, with a proud smile, commended his friend, "Your hard work has paid off, Rain. You deserve it." Zephyr, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm, chimed in, "Absolutely! All those hours of studying and practicing were not in vain. We're so proud of you, Rain!"
Ash, unable to contain his excitement, added, "Come on, Rain! Show us some new air tricks. Can you create a little tornado or something?" Rain, basking in the warmth of his friends' appreciation, chuckled, "Well, I did practice a few tricks. Let me show you what I've got." With a flourish, he conjured a small vortex of air in the palm of his hand, the swirling winds captivating the attention of everyone in the room. Furie and Ash exchanged excited glances, and Ash couldn't help but ask, "Can you make it bigger? Like a full-on whirlwind?" Rain, always up for a challenge, grinned, "Sure thing!" With focused intent, he expanded the miniature tornado into a more substantial whirlwind, causing papers and leaves in the room to dance in the air. Furie clapped her hands, "Amazing! You're like a master of the elements now, Rain! Tomorrow, you will control all four elements, just like me." Rain laughed, knowing Furie was exaggerating a little.
Ash, inspired by the display, exclaimed, "Try creating some air shapes or something!" Rain, embracing the playful demands of his friends, began sculpting intricate shapes in the air using the combination of water and air magic. Each swirl and twist drew gasps of amazement and delight from the onlookers. Leaf, with a smile, said, "You've truly become a dual-element maestro, Rain. We're lucky to have you on our team."
Rain stopped his magic for a second and reminded Leaf that he could also manipulate two elements. His mention of Leaf's ability to manipulate both earth and water elements was met with a casual shrug from the earth Guardian. "Well, I don't practice enough, and I feel like my water skills are slipping away from me," Leaf admitted, a hint of sadness and discomfort coloring his words. Furie, always attuned to Leaf's emotions, jumped in with reassurance. "Leaf, don't worry. We can train together. I'm sure we can uncover more about the water element, and you'll reconnect with your skills in no time."
Rain, ever supportive, added, "That's a great idea! I could give you both some tips the next time we have a practice day together." Leaf's lips curled into a small smile at the encouragement from his friends. The prospect of learning more about the water element with Furie and Rain seemed to brighten his spirits, and he nodded appreciatively at the suggestion. Leaf was about to add something when a knock on the door interrupted him. Who was their new guest? Rain did not remember inviting anyone else tonight.
