On the drive home Kira and I immediately start arguing with each other. "I can't believe you embarrassed me in front of The Boyz. I could have just waited downstairs or in the car." She takes her eyes off the road for a second to give me a look. "You need to socialize more often kit. Make friends maybe find someone who you like romantically. Remember what the therapist said? You have to get outside your comfort zones to do things." I roll my eyes and cross my arms over my chest looking out the window until we come to a stop in front of our apartment I immediately getting out and grab my backpack before storming inside. I bypass my sisters girlfriend with an irritated "hey Malia." Then I head up to my room and dig out my assignments starting them to distract myself. Soon I hear a knock on my door I letting out a little sigh before telling the person to come in. I look up from my assignments to see Malia walking in she giving me a small smile. "I heard you got into an awkward situation today." I immediately grimace and nod. "Yeah Kira tried to force me to approach The Boyz and talk to them." She gives me a sympathetic look. "She probably thought you'd be excited to meet them. They are your favorite group." I immediately let out a sigh. "True but she knows I don't do well around people. I could barely get a sentence out and kept stuttering like an idiot. And she of course had to sit me beside Eric of all people." Her expression turns soft. "I understand but you really need to make friends bud. At least try and be social around the others." I pout and reluctantly give an "okay." She smiles and ruffles my hair before telling me dinner will be ready soon then leaves me alone. I sigh and look over at my poster of The Boyz an anxious feeling in my stomach but I quickly go back to my college assignments until Kira calls for me. I put my assignments away before I head downstairs to eat I staying quiet for the rest of the night until I get up and excuse myself then head to bed for the night.
