Ch 14

(Sander's Pov)

Over the next few days Harry and I get to know Eric's parents more I actually getting along really well with his mom. Today though I'm going shopping with Eric's mom and sister while Eric and his dad stay home with Harry they going to watch a baseball game on tv. Looking through the list I made of things I need I double and triple check it then take a breath and put it away in my wallet before I head downstairs. I see Eric on the couch with Harry in his lap he already absorbed in the game on tv. Eric's mom walks over to me with a smile and starts gently guiding me out the door. "Let's get going we still need to pick up my daughter." I nod and let her lead me to the car I immediately offering to sit in back but she sternly tells me to get in the front seat. Sighing I immediately do so getting in and buckle up we pulling out of the driveway and start heading down the street. Once we pull up in a driveway I see a very pretty older girl rush over she getting in back and I turn my head she giving me a bright smile. "Hi you must be Sander! It's really nice to meet you. And I can't believe I have a nephew now too." I smile my ears twitching a little. "It's nice to meet you as well." Eric's mom soon pulls out and drives off towards the mall while the woman in back starts asking curiously. "How did you and Youngjae meet anyways?" I smile turning my head back to look at her. "My sister works in recording and was working with his group. She made me sit with him and he was really nice. The next day I came in soaked from the rain and he gave me his extra clean clothes so I would be dry. Then when I started my internship at the hospital and he was there for a sprained knee I was walking him out after bracing his knee and then we saw Harry who was a tiny malnourished and beaten little thing with a broken arm. The entire time we took care of Harry we just got closer and closer to each other and I couldn't help but fall for him hard." They both coo and awe at me I blushing slightly when we reach the mall we parking and get out. "So did you get to finish your internship at the hospital dear?" I shake my head no at Eric's mom. "No I put it on hold so I could take care of Harry. And I also got in an argument with the chief of surgery over something and I'm not allowed back just yet." They both look at me in confusion. "What was the argument about?" I sigh and admit softly. "One day Eric went home to the dorm to freshen up and a man who says he owned Harry came storming into the hospital room. He pulled out a gun and shot me but I was luckily able to put him in an unconscious state. But the chief of surgery said he didn't want me back to work unless I saw and was cleared by a therapist." They both look at me wide eyed and concerned. "Are you okay? How bad was the shooting?" I wave them off assuring them it wasn't anything to worry about and instead change the subject. "So which store should we go to first?" The women both give each other a look but Eric's sister asks curiously. "So what are you wearing to your wedding?" I shrug as we start walking through the mall Eric and I having agreed to just have a simple wedding at a church with his parents and sister and Harry. "I was thinking of just wearing some jeans and a button up shirt." They both stop in their tracks and give me looks of disbelief. "You're not serious are you? It's your wedding day at least wear something a little nice." I blink a little and go to say something but Eric's mother cuts me off. "Even Youngjae is going to at least be wearing a suit. Come along and we'll find you something." I'm then dragged off through the mall to a store that sells formal wear. The sales manager is a small tiny woman named Alice she immediately going to grab some different suits while I'm waiting in the dressing room. I try on suit after suit but none of them really capture my interest until I spot a simple pure black suit. Alice is nice enough to bring my size and I put it on smiling and step out my mom and sister in law both gasping and give approved looks. "That's definitely the one." I smile and nod agreeing then go to change back to my normal clothes. We're lucky that they have the suit in my size ready to go that day so I grab the bag and follow the women out of the store. We then head to different stores buying clothes and I getting some clothes for Harry as well as a little pair of dress pants and a dress shirt for him. Once we're finished for the day we drop off Eric's sister then head home his mom offering to grab my suit so Eric won't see I thanking her as we head inside I going to the living room while Eric's mom goes to quickly hide my suit. I then feel my legs being tackled and I look down at the small little boy smiling softly and reach down petting his ears. "Hey sweetie how was your time with appa and grandpa?" He smiles and signs that he was taught about baseball and thinks it's cool and that they ordered chicken for dinner. He then yawns and rubs his little eyes I smiling softly and scoop him up before heading upstairs. I take him to the room he's been staying in and lay him down tucking him in I really grateful he's not had any trouble sleeping alone and hasn't really had much nightmares. Once I have him tucked in I sing him a little lullaby and watch as he's out like a light I quietly getting up and slipping out of the room. I then head over to the guest room and slip my shoes off before going over to the bed and sit down with a sigh before laying back closing my eyes. After awhile I hear the door click and my eyes pop open I immediately sitting up in bed only to give a little smile when I see Eric. He gives me a smile back before walking over. "How was shopping with my mom and sister?" I hum before saying cheerfully. "It was really nice. I like them." He smiles and I suddenly yawn his expression softening. "Go get changed and we'll head for bed. Did you already eat?" I nod telling him I have eaten then get up grabbing pajamas and head for the bathroom quickly changing before I head back to bed I climbing in beside Eric silently I immediately being cuddled close I nuzzling against his chest and cling to him slowly falling asleep.
