Ch 12

A few more weeks pass and it's time for Harry to be discharged since he's gained weight, his bruises are all gone and his arm is finally out of the cast. As I'm getting the paperwork signed for Harry to leave Eric is making plans for us to go to America as soon as tonight. I already bought Harry a little suitcase of clothes and things he'll need. After finally getting all of the paperwork done I leave to hand it over then come back into the room and gently pick Harry up setting him on my hip. I then look over at Eric who lets out a breath of relief looking up from his phone. "Okay I got everything settled. I told management that I was going home for awhile and got all of us tickets for a flight later this afternoon so we should probably get going so that we can get checked in and everything." I nod in agreement and we grab the suitcases that we brought the other night I grabbing one while Eric grabs the other two his knee having finally gotten better so he doesn't have the brace or crutches anymore. We then leave the hospital grabbing a cab and head to the airport where Eric puts on a cap and mask so he won't be recognized. We grab our luggage and get checked in I settling Harry on my lap once we sit down to wait for our flight he playing with his stuffed fox. After awhile of waiting our flight is called and we get our seats I holding Harry on my lap since he's so young. Once the plane's in the air Harry dozes off a little and I look at Eric a little nervously. "Are you sure your parents will like us? Or even approve of you marrying me?" He gives me a reassuring smile. "I'm sure they'll love you both. Don't worry so much Sander." Reluctantly I back down and sigh I laying my head on Eric's shoulder he giving me a kiss to my temple making me blush.

*hours later*

We make our way off the plane I holding Harry in my arms while Eric leads us to get our luggage I grabbing one suitcase while Eric grabs the other two. He then looks around the airport before smiling and starts leading us over to a man and woman I immediately feeling a little nervous but follow Eric while Harry hides his face in my chest scared and shy. Eric rushes over to the older couple immediately hugging them both while I stay off to the side a little. "Hi eomma and appa! I missed you so much!" They both smile the woman cooing over him for a moment before she turns to me with a kind smile greeting me in English. "Hello you must be Sander." Her gaze goes to the tiny boy in my arms and her expression softens. "And I'm guessing that's little Harry." I nod my ears twitching a little. "Yes it's nice to meet you Mrs Sohn. Harry's very shy and gets scared easily so please don't get offended." She just gives a soft understanding smile. "It's perfectly fine. Youngjae told us about how he was abused and everything." I'm then introduced to Eric's father and then we're lead out to a car I holding Harry in my lap as mr Sohn drives. We arrive at a nice house I getting out and go to help get the suitcases when Eric's mom grabs my arm and starts leading me inside with a smile. "You and Youngjae can sleep in the guest room while the little one can sleep in Youngjae's old bedroom." I nod cradling a sleeping Harry in my arms. "I appreciate you accepting us into your home Mrs Sohn." She immediately waves me off. "Don't worry about it sweetheart. And you can call me mom." I smile a little and nod. "Alright mom." She smiles brightly at me and starts leading me upstairs we going down the hall to a room with a baseball sticker on the door. I smile as she opens it for me and I look around the room curiously as I gently set Harry on the bed taking his shoes off and tuck him in. I then rub my eyes myself and Mrs Sohn gives me a soft smile. "Come along I'll show you the guest room so you can rest." I nod and let her lead me across the hall where I thank her as she leaves closing the door behind her and I slip my shoes off glad I'm already in comfortable clothes as I climb into the soft bed and slowly fall asleep.
