Ch 28

It's the day that Eric and I find out the sex of our baby we currently sitting in the waiting room where Eric is fidgeting and bouncing his leg nervously. I look at him in slight amusement. "Love calm down. You got us here a little early today." He pouts a little. "I'm excited okay? I can't believe we find out what we're having." Just as he says that a nurse calls us back we getting up and follow her to a room. I take a seat on the examination table Eric standing beside me and the nurse assures us that the doctor will be here soon. I nod thanking her and we wait for about five minutes when the doctor comes in giving us a kind smile. "Hello there. Are you ready to find out what you're having?" We both nod and I lay back against the table pulling my shirt up and the doctor grabs the ultrasound wand squirting some gel on my stomach I shivering slightly at the coldness and watch as the doctor runs the wand over my stomach staring at the screen. After a moment he hums and turns the monitor around so we can see the baby on the screen. "And it seems you're having a boy." I smile softly when I see the baby on the screen Eric clutching at my hand giving it a little loving squeeze. The doctor says he'll print off some pictures but first he hands me a towel to clean off with I wiping the gel off my stomach then we discuss a birth plan. When we're finished discussing everything we get given the pictures and we head out of the office Eric looking at me happily. "I can't believe we're going to have a baby boy soon." I chuckle a little and kiss his cheek before we get in the van that brought us here and head home where the guys are watching Harry. Once we get home and enter Harry immediately runs up to us looking excited. "What is it? A brother or sister?" I chuckle softly and pet his ears lovingly. "You're going to have a little brother." He grins happily looking excited. "I can't wait until he gets here." I smile softly. "Us either sweetie." He smiles then runs off to play with Hyunjae and Chanhee I moving over to Sangyeon and Jacob. "So what all have you guys done today?" Sangyeon looks at me with a reassuring smile. "We went to the park to practice baseball with Harry and he ran into his friend that he was really excited to see." Jacob then speaks up. "They talked for a minute but apparently the boy had to go because his mom called so we brought Harry back home too." I nod in understanding. "All he talks about is his new friend on the baseball team. I'm just happy he's able to play and be a normal kid." Sangyeon and Jacob give me little nods agreeing. Soon though the guys leave after I show them the ultrasound picture then I sit on the couch picking up Harry and settle him on my lap before showing him the picture he looking at it curiously. "Is that really my little brother?" I nod smiling. "Yeah sweetie it is." He smiles then we put the picture away before I let Harry down then go to cook dinner. Once we eat and watch some tv together we put Harry to bed before going to bed ourselves I immediately snuggling close to Eric clinging to him lovingly.
