I had just woken up in Hades Cabin, and Will Solace was still snoring next to me. I got up and quietly got ready. I didn't want to wake up Will, so I moved pretty close to silent. I had just finished changing from pajamas to black jeans and a Camp Half-Blood shirt when I got an Iris Message.

The shimmering message nearly sent me jumping out of my skin. Then I registered who it was. Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano was the one that Iris Messaged me. She was wearing blue jeans and an S.P.Q.R. tee shirt, once she saw I was awake she started talking.

"Hey, Nico, I'm glad you're awake, I need a favor. I'm sorry, I know it's early, especially for you, but it's important."

I blinked a few times, then spoke. "It's fine, what's wrong? Is someone in trouble?"

"Nothing wrong here. And to answer your second question, yes and no."

"Is Hazel okay? Are you okay?"

"Yes and yes. I'm safe, and so is your sister."

I let out a sigh of relief. "Thank gods... Wait, then, what's wrong?"

"Have you not been paying attention to what was happening at CHB?"

"I mean, I was a little bit busy yesterday... I saw Percy carry Annabeth to her cabin and then leave her in there, but I just figured she'd hit her head, so I didn't worry much since people hit their heads a lot here."

Reyna filled me in on what had happened in the moments leading up to that. How in the name of my father did this girl know more about what happened in this camp than I did?! She was across the country!

"Okay... So... What do you need me to do about that?" I asked, feeling both angry and confused towards Piper. That wasn't okay for her to do... But at the same time, she loved helping with pranks, but she wouldn't do something this messed up. What was happening?

"Well, I need you to bring me Piper Mclean."

"Whoa whoa whoa. Wait, before I agree, why? Please don't tell me you're planning to kill her."

Reyna made a face of mock offense. "Please, Nico, I'm not gonna kill her."

"Torture?"

"No."

"Punch?"

"Possibly."

"Then what do you want with her?"

"I want to know the truth. We both know she wouldn't do something like that. At least not by choice. I wanna know why she did it."

Will snorted behind me as he woke up. "Humma?"

Reyna chuckled. "Were you having a sleepover, Nico?"

Will's head quickly turned to Reyna's misty form. He was wearing an old yellow shirt and a pair of pants with little suns on them. Apparently, those pants were a gift from Apollo, not magic or anything, just soft. I found them adorably childish-looking on Will. "Uhm, you see, uh-"

She smiled good-naturedly as Will tried to find an explanation or excuse. "Relax, Solace, I already knew about you and Nico-"

"How?"

"I told her, I talk to her when I have a problem or something great happens."

"Which one am I?"

"A significant annoyance," I said with a smile, then Reyna spoke again.

"Listen, Solace, just don't hurt Nico, and I won't have a single problem with you two being together."

"Okay." He said quickly. I'm pretty sure Reyna scared him a little.

"Anyways, Nico, you okay with bringing her to me?"

I nodded in agreement as Will got up to get dressed. He kept some of his clothes in my cabin.

"Alright, see you in a bit." She waved her hand through the message on her end and disappeared.

"So... Who are you bringing to Reyna?" Will asked.

"Piper."

"Is this because of the incident last night?"

"Did everyone other than me know?"

"Maybe?" Will said with a shrug. "Wait. Is Reyna gonna kill Piper?"

"No."

"Torture?"

"Nah."

"Punch?"

"Possibly?"

"Wait, if punching is only a possibility, then what does she want?" He stumbled a bit as he pulled on a pair of his jeans.

"Supposedly, she just wants to talk, since she knows that's not normal behavior for Piper."

"Yeah, makes sense. So, you're gonna bring Piper to her?"

"Yes."

"I'll have a Gatorade ready for when you get back. Try not to exert yourself."

"Alright. See you in a bit, Will."

I kissed Will, then walked out. When I got to Aphrodite Cabin, everyone except for Piper was leaving. As soon as they all left I slammed open the door. Piper was still in her bed, the blankets were covering her head.

"Fuck off, Drew!"

"Not Drew." I walked over next to her bed.

"The fuck off, Mitchell."

"Wrong again. It's Nico."

"Fuck off, Nico."

"No."

"Why?"

"Reyna wants to speak with you."

"Shit." She pulled down her blankets, she was in pajamas, so I grabbed her wrist and we shadow traveled to New Rome, right in front of Reyna's desk.

"Hello, Nico. Piper, come sit."
