This one's from Cato's POV, hope you enjoy.

Cato's POV:

It's around 1:00 A.M when I get home from work. The first thing I noticed when i walk in is the strong smell of alcohol.

"Mom!" I call through the house. No response. "Mom!" I call again. I make my way through the maze of beer bottles, food wrappers, and other random junk thrown on the floor. I see my mother passed out on the couch, the TV playing in front of her and a bag of chips spilling over her lap.

I look at her, turn the TV off and make my way to my room. I share a room with my brother and when I walk in I see he's not in the room.

"Walker!" I call out, not bothering to keep my voice quiet.

"What," He responds and I see him down the hall, Picking up the trash that covers our house.

"Walker," I say, making my way over to him. "You don't have to do that."

"But I want to," he says, continuing to pick up the bottles and wrappers.

"But you need to get to sleep," I counter, knowing that he'll behave If it's me telling him what to do.

"Okay," He yawns, standing up and slowly making his way back to the bedroom. "Cato," I look at him. "Will you help me tomorrow?"

It takes me a second to understand what he means. "Yes," I say looking down at the mess that my baby brother had started to clean, all by himself.

I follow him into the room and tuck him in. I then change out of my work clothes and into my pajamas. I stagger into the bathroom to comb my hair and brush my teeth.

When I get back to my room I can tell Walker is already sleeping. I turn and walk to the other side of the hall, slowly opening the door to peek in on my two sisters, they both seem to be asleep under their covers.

I walk back to my room collapsing onto my bed. Most kids my age don't have jobs, but ever since my mom quit her job 6 months ago, I had to find away to keep caring for my siblings when my mom couldn't.

I started working at the local bar when I found my mom passed out drunk there 4 months ago. Ever since then, That's where I would go after school.
