As I stepped out of the glossy red jeep, a sense of excitement washed over me. I couldn't help but feel grateful for being Jeremiah's "girlfriend," (which gave me the super great advantage of driving his Jeep, even though he wouldn't let anyone else touch it). As I made my way to the Country Club, I felt a little nervous but excited to see what the day had in store for me.

Suddenly, I heard a familiar voice call out my name, "Hey! Y'N!" I turned around to see Jeremiah, standing there in nothing but a pair of swimming shorts. He laughed, obviously amused about my outfit. I felt slightly self-conscious but brushed it off quickly. The stupid-as-butt face was not ruining this for me. I was wearing silky white gloves along with a light purple fascinator to go with my new dress, and I thought I looked pretty amazing if I do say so myself.

As I walked towards the debutante tea, I couldn't help but feel a bit silly about the whole dress-up tea party kind of vibe. "It's pretty silly," I muttered to myself, trying to make myself look less dumb.

"No, no, I think it's really cute. You should have seen Belly, I just ran into her a second ago. Pineapple dress," he grinned, trying to cheer me up,  his blue eyes shining beautifully in the summer light.

"Oh, uh yeah. I'm gonna go head up now. To the deb tea," I smiled, trying to sound confident.

"Wait! I'm gonna come up with you. I heard there's gonna be these really good brie, fig and prosciutto sandwiches there," Jeremiah exclaimed, an excited smile on his face.

I scrunched my nose up in distaste. "Prosciutto and figs?"

"Yeah! You've never had them before?" he said in disbelief.

"Not everyone has an expensive taste palette like you, stupid face," I joked, trying to lighten the mood while hinting for him to get a friking move one.

"Okay, okay, let's go," he agreed, and we walked towards the room, surprisingly getting along.

Soon, we reached the debutante tea. Nervously, I pushed the door open. "You late," a voice snapped. I looked over to see Paige, the instructor, and all the girls at their tables.

"Now Paige, please let me introduce you to this AMAZING young lady my mom was telling you about, Y/N. My future wife," Jeremiah joked, winking at me.

"Sit. Y/n," Paige said through gritted teeth, her eyebrows raised.

"Sorry," I muttered, scurrying to where she motioned towards, and sat.

"Jeremiah, don't you dare," the already irritated instructor hissed, as Jeremiah leaned over towards the sandwiches. "THEY'RE FOR THE GIRLS!"

None the less, Jeremiah was successful and had claimed the prize of the fancy sandwich, proudly holding it in his hands. His abs were visible. It looked like he was working out. Wait what? Why am I looking there? But his smiles so cute.... EW NO! WHAT THE HELL Y/N! I thought to myself, but I could tell that I wasn't the only one who was thinking the same thing. I watched as the other girls around me practically drool, there faces tinted pink.

"Bye Paige, bye girls, bye Y/N! Good luck!" he waved, stuffing the food into his mouth, adding a special wink at the end, closing the door after him.

(DONT YOU WORRY THE NEXT CHAPTER IS ALL ABOUT THE DEB TEA)
