I tuck E in, kissing his cheek, when I hear a soft knock on the door. I whisper, "Come in," the door creeks open.
Tilly steps in, her eyes all puffy, "I'm Sorry Flo, I should have told you, That's unfair for you. I thought they told you already, y'know, when they called you. I guess not. But that's beside the point, I am Sorry, If you want, I can have Jamie get you and Elliott a place. Maybe a townhome, or a villa! That would be nice, somewhere by-"
I cut her off, "Tilly, I appreciate your offer and Your apology, but that's not needed. This living situation won't be permanent. It's just until I can afford anything, whether it's a townhome or a house."
She smiles, wiping her nose, "Can you be the godmother of my children?" I laugh at her question, "When the time comes, we'll discuss it!" She smiles, "I'm asking for a reason." She opens the door all the way, Blue and pink balloons are flooded everywhere, slowly coming inside E's room.
My hand covers my mouth, "MATILDA!" Our eyes meet, Matilda is already crying, and My eyes are just watering. I jump up, hugging her, She laughs, "I'm not trying to spring this on you, but I'm pregnant!" I laugh, "What?! I thought you were getting a dog!"

As the alarm echoes through the room, I have to fight to wake up. I should have slept on the plane yesterday. I shut the noise off, then go to brush my teeth.
"Good morning Ms. Florence," a voice calls, I jump. "Oh, Good morning!" The woman laughs, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you. Ms. Matilda said you need to be at work by 7:25 A.M., We will be leaving in about 30 minutes, unless you would like to stop for coffee, then about 20." I smile, "Coffee sounds great!! Can I meet you in the garage? 20 minutes will give me just enough time!" She nods her head, "I'll see you then!"
I don't know why I agreed to get ready in 20 minutes, but I'm also too scared to say anything, so 20 minutes will just have to work.
I brush my hair, put on some light makeup, then change. (Something like this, comfy but professional)
