The man holds his hand out, "Lando Norris, I know who you are, I've seen your work." I smile at him, then shake his hand, "It's lovely to meet you, Lando. I've seen your races, you're pretty good, and you have a lot of potential."

He takes a seat in his assigned spot, as Zak Brown walks in, holding some files. I can tell one of them is mine, 'L. Bianchi'

Everyone makes some talk until Zak speaks up, "Can I please have everybody's attention?" He pauses for a moment, letting the room get silent, "First off, Welcome Lana, we're glad to have you editing and taking our photos. Along with, Interviewing the racers." Lando and Oscar smile at me, and everybody else just stares.

"Now, Let's go over some of the things we want posted, Media," He stops, as the Media team starts to type on their laptops. "Let's get a good start to this season, we want to come back, stronger than-" His voice trails off as I zone out.

Lando, who's sitting next to me, gently taps my wrist, the whispers, "Get ready, this is when we need to listen." I smile at him, mouthing thank you.

"So, Here are the photos the old Photographer took from last year," Zak says, pinning some photographs up. "Here are the ones Lana Took.." he looks at me, waiting for my answer, "Yesterday, I took them when I was touring everything." He nods his head, "So, If  Lana can take these amazing photos, that the old one couldn't even take on race days, then we're improving." Lando tags on, "We need to start posting some of these, considering we've just deleted a lot of our old insta pictures, we need to start the new season with new inspiration. We need to step it up."

Zak and Oscar nod their heads at Lando's statement, "I agree with Lando, Can we have Lana take some photos, have them be edited, then post them," Oscar asks Zak.

"Yeah, I can see if We can arrange that. We also need-" His voice trails off again maybe I can just zone out easily to his voice. As the meeting continues, my mind starts to wander.

Charles, he's the only one who comes to my mind. Is it bad I miss him Already? Elliott would like him, and So would Tilly. Well, technically, she already does. I wouldn't be surprised if she was already planning our wedding by now. I wonder what type of dress I'd wear, Charles would look really good in a suit... My Mind trails off, thinking of the things I want to do in the Future. With or without Charles in it.

Lando taps my wrist, just like earlier, "We're almost done, he's just going to add a couple of things, and then we can finally go." I nod my head at him, "How long has it been?" He checks his watch, "Almost 37 minutes, you ready for lunch?" I nod my head, and he gives a soft chuckle, "Same."

As the meeting ends, I say goodbye to everyone, Then try to get out quickly, Until Oscar stops me, "Hey Lana, Thank you for agreeing to take the photos tomorrow, I appreciate it. My girlfriend Lily is coming tomorrow, so you'll get to meet her."

"Yeah, of course, I look forward to it," I respond, then quickly go back up to my office, sending Charles a text.

Hey Charles,

I'm omw now, I'll see

you soon.

Xx

I scan my pass, unlock my door, and then open it, seeing Charles and some sushi. "Ahh, Lana, You're here!" I smile at him, "Of course, what'd you order?"

Charles goes in-depth about the things he'd ordered for the pair, and then they finally start to eat.  Using his chopsticks, Charles picks up a roll, "These are pretty good, right?" I nod my head, "It's delicious!" He gives me a cheeky grin, "You know," He pauses, looking for the right words to say, "We should do this, You and me." I look at him, "Are you asking me out on a date, Mr. Leclerc?" he chuckles, "Who wouldn't want to go on a date with you?" I laugh at his question, "You'd be surprised."

He gives me another smile, "Want to go to dinner instead of coffee? What days do you have off?"

"Charles, Believe me, I would love to, except-" he looks down, "You don't like me like that, I get it," He goes to leave, but just in time, I stop him. "It's not that. I still haven't moved in all the way, so those are my plans for my days off. Shopping and moving furniture. When I move in completely, The first day off I get will be reserved for you and me," I pause, "I promise." He looks down at me with soft eyes, then kisses my forehead, "I'm sorry Amour, I should have thought about that. If you need any help, let me know, I can help, or I can get some guys to help you."

"That's very thoughtful of you, Charles," I say walking over to my calendar, him following me, " I have the next 2 days off, Then 1 week here, then 3 days off. I should be almost done by the third day. Maybe then we can go out, I'll have to ask Tilly-" Charles interrupts me on accident, "Who's Tilly? Is she your friend?"

"Yeah, Matilda has been my best friend since I was in like primary school. She's pretty cool, you would like her," I pause, "You know Jame Springs?" He nods his head, "Yeah, I've met him a few times. He's a big business guy, CEO of some company." I nod my head, "That's Tilly's husband, they met a couple of years ago, and then got married." He nods his head, "Maybe one day we will all hang out." I smile at him, "I would like that."

I look up at Charles, and he looks down at me, I can almost feel his breath on mine. He slowly starts to lean in, until he gets a phone call. He lets out a big sigh, "I'm sorry, Mon amour." I give him a reassuring smile, "Don't sweat it, Leclerc. I'll see you later."

He smiles at me one last time, then leaves the room, as I send Tilly a text.

Tilly, You won't believe what just
happened. I can't tell you now,
bc my lunch break's ending, I'll
tell u on the car ride home. I

I smile before sending the text, I can picture her squealing as I tell her the events that have happened so far today. Boy, she is in for it.
