School is done for the day. Now I am back at my dorm getting ready to go to work.
I work at Susie's Diner and the uniform has us wearing poodle skirts and Peter Pan blouses.
You all must be wondering Alpha's daughter with scholarship and working why? Well my scholarship I earned it based on my achievements, not on income or rank. Humans go to this school as well and it's not owned or ran by a pack it is just in Silver Moon territory. I work because I refuse to have my pack or pack fund anything that is not necessary.
I am walking into the diner that I work at as a server I say hi to Racheal a fellow server and Steve the cook. I clock in and start working.
As I am talking to one of my regulars I smell my mate come into the diner and he is with two other males. I go to take their order. I of course know Niko, the future beta, but I am going to guess the third guy is the future gamma.
I carry on like Marcel is not my mate.
"Hey gentlemen, what may I get you on this rainy day?" I ask politely.
"Coffee, bacon cheeseburger and fries," says Niko
"Sweet Tea, BLT extra bacon and onion rings," says the other guy.
"Sweet tea, bacon cheeseburger and fries," says Marcel.
I leave to take care of their order.
When I bring back their drink la I see a brown headed she wolf sitting in my mates lap.
"Rip her off him" Sky says.
I ignore the pang of hurt and Sky.
I finish my shift and go home.
When I get back to the dorm I get out of my uniform and put on some shorts and a baggy shirt. I start to feel like everything is burning and I am getting the crap beat out of me from the inside. My mate is sleeping with someone who isn't us.
