Emily was awake extra early. She lay quiet for a moment trying to figure out why she was awake and what felt different.

Her eyes shot open when she realized it was because she didn't feel a threat. She felt calm. It was weird not waking up with the stomach pain of anxiety. Or a headache from grinding her teeth at night. She stretched and got out of bed.

Her computer was open and indicated she had a message waiting from Subject A7 The Leader. She sat down on the bed and opened it.

Hey princess. It's been a while. It's been a crazy few days. Girl drama is no longer my problem and that friend I mentioned before seems it all worked out. Just thought I'd update ya. Anyway...might have to write a cliche happy the sun will come out tomorrow kinda thing. :)

Emily smiled. She didn't know this person but she was happy he felt better. She was curious about this girl drama and this other situation he was talking about.

Hey A7. I've been busy sucking souls and taking names. I'm glad girl drama isn't your problem anymore. Going off for a while or switching teams?

Emily chuckled and got up to get dressed, she was up early, might as well go for a run. Now that she had her stuff, she could wear proper clothes. Pulling on a pair of short biker shirts and Minho's old hoodie she pulled her hair into a pony. The house was quiet when she left. She scribbled a quick note saying she was going for a run. She put her headphones on and then slipped her running shoes on. She was doing up the laces when someone tapped her.

She yelped, and jumped up. Her heart rate spiked and her stomach dropped. Spinning around yanking her headphones out she saw Minho laughing at her.

"The shuck is your problem you slint head!"

Emily was breathing hard, her heart was still racing. Minho chuckled.

"Well to be fair I did call your name a few times."

"Whatever. Still not cool."

"You're up early."

"Very observant of you." Emily rolled her eyes.

"Whoa, someone needs coffee this early in the morning." He smirked at her.

Emily just scowled. Emily finally took in his appearance, he was dressed in athletic wear and running shoes.

"Nice hoodie." Minho smirked, and raised an eyebrow, and crossed his huge arms, his biceps looked even bigger. Emily's face went pink and she felt the heat rise. She lowered her head.

"It's...comfy." her voice came out quieter then she intended.

"It's too small on me anyways, keep it." Minho shrugged, he still had a smug smirk on his face.

"Don't worry I won't wear it to school. You can keep your popular reputation of the school hero. I'll blend back into the background."

"What?" His smirk dropped, and the corns of his mouth turned, and his eyebrows scrunched, "Emmy, why would yo-"

"Looks like we're both going for a run, if you're coming with me, keep up."

Emily cut him off and pulled the door open and headed down the driveway. She put her headphones back in and cranked the music. Minho matched her pace. She appreciated that he didn't try to talk to her. But he still had the troubled look on his face, which slowly turned into his usual look of stone. But he kept her pace. She slowly sped up, she was pushing herself harder. Minho kept pace.

By the time they rounded the corner of his street they were both breathing heavily, and covered in sweat. Emily slowed down and came to a brisk walk, slowing her heart beat, and trying to regain her regular breath.
