The next days were very hard for Emily. Now that there were other people involved, now that there was a case trying to remove her from the situation, now that she was in temporary custody, now that Sam Isaac was trying to get Jorge permanent custody, and now that the school was involved, there was all kinds of meetings. Emily hated all of it. She sat with her head down, her voice quiet and shaky, her hands cold numb and shaking. She had to repeat everything over and over.

Emily heard from a few people that the next day was full of wild stories. A mass school wide assembly was called, Director Janson and the cops went over the ramifications of this type of thing.

"I've seen the Director mad...but this was kinds scary. I'm not sure if it was 'cause his school is now under the watch of cops and lawyers, or if he actually cares.. but either way, he was terrifying." Sonya said.

She had come over, the next day. She was sitting on Emily's desk chair, Minho was sitting on the bed, Emily had laid her head in his lap.

"They also pulled a few different kids into Ratman's office, Mr. Isaac, the cops and Ratman to question them." Minho added.

"Yeah, that kid who said you were needed in the office...he apparently turned himself in. He broke down crying, claiming he knew nothing other than someone asked if would do it. He couldn't figure out who it was. Said it was a male, he was approached in the library, and asked through the bookshelves. He was given fifty bucks!" Sonya continued the story.

"Ben, Teresa and Brenda and that kid who Clint punched, were all called into the office. Pretty much anyone who has been a pain in the ass." Minho said, he had his hand buried in her hair.

She didn't go to school for the rest of the week. Her concussion wasn't bad but it made her tired and dizzy. Her friends would gather her homework and Minho would bring it home. She would slowly work through it during the day, in between naps. It felt strange having someone home with her while she recovered, Mama Lee took the week off to take care of her. Emily tried to protest, but both Mama and Papa Lee put their foot down.

"Emily, you are as good as a daughter, it is the same thing we would have done for our son. Now You do not call us Mama and Papa Lee for nothing." Mr. Lee said firmly.

"We wan to take care of you."

Minho would come home from school and practice shower and then just hold Emily. He would do his homework on his bed, with Emily laying her head in his lap. On the suggestion and the insistence of Jorge, a therapist was hired for Emily. The first few sessions would be at the Lee's house and then move to her office.

Emily was very nervous and quiet the first meeting. She kept her head down and eyes averted. Dr Crawford was nice enough. But Emily hated talking about her past. But she did it for Jorge, and she knew deep down she needed this. It was the evening before she was going back to school. She needed to get better, not just physically. When the front door opened, and Minho came in from practice Emily's head picked up and she had light in her eyes again. The first small smile on her face since the session started.

"Hey baby!" He said brightly, his signature smirk on his face.

"Hi. How was practice?"

"Great! Sorry for interrupting, I'll go shower. And I'll tell ya all about it!"

"No problem at all." Dr Crawford smiled at him, "That was the first genuine smile I have seen."

Minho smirked even more and winked at Emily. He left to shower and Dr Crawford finished their session. Emily felt exhausted, who knew therapy could be so emotionally draining. She picked herself up from the kitchen table and pushed Minho's bedroom door open, he was in the bathroom in the shower. She climbed into his bed, burying her face into his pillow, it smelt like him and it helped her fried nerves. She was just dozing off when the bathroom door opened, revealing a shirtless Minho in a pair of sweatpants. Even in Emily's half sleepy state, her face went bright red.
