Killuas pov:
After a while, just like back at the orphanage, I got bored. The only thing I had to do for entertainment was try to stack rocks at the top of the tree from the ground. I know I liked being alone but not isolation in a forest with literally everything but the birds trying to kill you. I think it's been about 2 months since I escaped or whatever. If I remember right about any day now should those kids escaped. I'm no longer living in the same tree but on another, when the tree died I used all my time to build a treehouse on a different one, probably the most entertaining thing since a demon tried to kill me.
It is currently night, this is when I test if my theory of time is correct. If it is they escape tonight, I'll probably pay them a visit in the morning if I can find them. Or they got caught but I don't think that would happen because of how dumb those demons are. Hopefully I get uninterrupted sleep.
Emma's pov:
Everyone is here
Our plan to make a zip line worked!
We did it! We escaped!
We are free from mom!
"What's that noise?"
Something was in the bushes, which were a lot bigger than the books described. The forest was beautiful for the first few seconds, a blood curdling screech came from the bush. All of us froze, a giant monster with bony arms, long human like arms,over 11 eyes, and many crooked teeth emerged. Another screech and we were all running for our lives.
It was fast
Really fast
But we were just a tiny bit faster
It screeched behind us, "KEEP RUNNING" it gave chase for what felt like hours, but was more like minutes. I could hear a slice behind me. Then the sound of somthing falling to the ground something heavy. "Bullseye!" Wait... I know that voice... everyone stoped running, the smaller kids collapsed while the others checked up on them. Others turned around and gasped, some looked towards the voice and gasped. When I looked to my right, there was... "KILLUA?" I seemed to have startled him but I don't care. He's alive!! I ran up to him along with ray and a few of the small kids who liked to annoy him back at the house.
"How are you alive! You got shipped???" This had never happened to our knowledge before. Maybe.. if he escaped without our plan... others can too, or better! Others did escape! "Now that I think about it... the morning after killua got shipped, Isabella looked really stressed and rushed. I thought it was cause she really liked you. How did you escape" ray doesn't usually ask this many questions, but yet again this is a one in a million situation! We all looked at killua waiting for an answer.
Killuas pov:
I can't tell them the truth... they would say somthing dumb like 'if he did it so can I' , to them I'm a normal kid. "I ran away" they looked a little disappointed that I didn't give a 9 paragraph explanation on what I did. But it was for their own safety that they do not try to do what worked for me. Wait... why do I care about their lives? Ray looked a little unconvinced, but yet again he saw how fast I ran when krone was there.
"If you could kill the demon chasing us how come you did not kill the demon then?" Stop being so suspicious, I literally just saved your life. I put my hands behind my head just be thankful. No questions " I did not have any weapons back then. I had no way of killing it." Although it's not a half bad lie,there was one problem, and that wa- "but you did not have a weapon just now?" ... that
He narrowed his eyes after that statement. Why do you have to ask so many questions? I saved 20 lives for gods sake! Everyone else just watched what was going on, they had nothing to say. Some were curious, some did not care a single bit. "Yeah I did, look on the head of that thing it's a sharpened stick I threw." Everyone looked, no one took it out, so I took it upon myself to do it. Pussies
I put my hands back on the side on my body and walked over to the corpse Climbed up its head, pulled out the stick with a shing! "See? A sharpened stick." The younger kids clapped in awe. I'm awesome right?? I dropped the stick then walked over back to them. Ray sighed in defeat as Emma spoke again, "alright! Let's keep moving-" if you think I'm going with you you're mistaken.
"Oh... well you know how it's been 2 months since I escaped?" Emma and the others turn their attention to me once again.Don't gotta look so unwelcoming.." well I may or may not already have a home not to far from here" to say the least, they looked surprised. Did I say something wrong or... "YOU FOUND MR MINERVAS PLACE!!?" They all said at the same time the fuck? I covered my ears to exaggerate how loud they were. "Quiet down! Another demon thing is gonna find us if you're that loud!
Emma looked at them and shushed as if she did not also scream that out... and be the loudest of them all. I rolled my eyes and continued. "Anyway, I don't know who mr.mineral is.. unless you're talking about that guy in all the books that was at the orphanage." I heard a little chuckle from the back of the group, it was don. He quickly shut up when some people turned their heads to him. "Yeah, that's the guy! Mr. Minerva has a hideout specifically for escapees!"
Oh? I never heard of any of this. Did they just discover it after I left? Or were they hiding it from me like the little brats they are. I narrowed my eyes "When did you find this out and how do you know it's true?" She looked exited and began to explain what exactly happened. In great detail, but the only part I listened to was "Norman found out that around the cute owl cover there was Morse code, it hid little messages that we deciphered together. When krone left there was a pen looking thing and her drawer and it showed where the hideout is!"
So you guys were hiding it from me huh? " Norman? You mean like before he was shipped? After you promised to not hide anything from me?" She covered her mouth and looked at ray, he face palmed while shaking his head. It was obvious her exact thoughts were 'oh shit! I was not supposed to say that' we did not have time to finish the conversation as there was loud rustling in the bushes. Then a 'shh' after, someone's here.

I've been writing non stop for the past few days, switching between my other two crossovers and this one. I've been paying more attention to the other two so I can finally get more chapters in. I think writers block is going away!! Ty for 5k reads❤️❤️
