Rosa pov

It's interview time for me and Lando and all the drivers eliminated in Q2. I approach the interviewers, position myself and they start asking me questions.
"Congratulations on Q1, Rosa, you made a really smooth overtaking" The journalist praises me
"Thank you, it was very satisfying to overtake Lando" I laugh
"In the videos you can see you and Lando touching wheel and wheel, but you can also see him closing inwards. Do you think it was done on purpose?"

"Well, yes, there has always been bad blood between me and Lando since our karting days, but we had never gotten to the point of throwing each other out, but, yes, it was done on purpose" I say as I drink some water.
Lando was a bastard to throw me out on purpose, sure I would have done the same thing later on maybe, but I wouldn't have risked ending up myself out to throw him out.
"One last question, tomorrow you will start at the bottom of the grid, together with Lando, how do you feel? How do you feel about the race? Do you think you can get to a good position?"
"Well, I don't know what will happen tomorrow, the car is good and has made great improvements, but I'm sure I'll do my best to at least get back up as much as possible and make my team proud and the tifosi"

"Well that's good to know, well then let's hope for a good race" laughs the journalist
"Well yes" I laughed too
I say goodbye to the interviewer and leave, go back to the pits and wait for Q3 to start and hope that Charles takes pole.

Q3 begins, Charles immediately manages to overtake Daniel who was positioned 3rd, now Charles is 3rd and is trying to overtake Carlos Sainz and after several attempts he succeeds..

Charles is second now and 2 seconds from max and 2 minutes left until the end of Q3.

We all get up to celebrate, we hug each other and jump for joy. I'm so proud of him right now. Charles returns to the pits, and not even the time to get out of the car before I run and jump on him.
"Hey slowly you're making me fall!" Charles he says as he holds me and laughs.
"Sorry, but I'm too happy!" I remain in his arms to hug him.
he makes me get off him, takes off his helmet and unbuttons his suit and then we all hug him.

You have no idea how happy I am for him, I don't care what happened to me, only him matters now.
"Charles!the interviews! Move!" I scream
"Fuck right, I'm going!" He says as he runs to do the interviews.

Charles pov

"So Charles you will start first tomorrow, how do you feel?" They ask me
"I feel great, I'm very happy with the work done, the car and I gave our best today, and I'd say it worked" I laugh
"How do you feel about tomorrow's race? What predictions do you have?"
"Well, I'm very superstitious, I won't talk about tomorrow's race, I just hope to be able to bring the team the first podium of the season"

"One last thing, many fans saw a very close relationship between you and Rosa, can you deny or confirm this?"
"Well, it's a question I didn't expect, between me and Rosa there is a good relationship but it's a friendship, we've known each other since our karting days and between us there is great friendship and respect but nothing more"
"Got it, well then I hope the fans understand too" he laughs

I just finished watching the interview and I wonder how the fans think that Charles and I are in a relationship, he is my best friend I would never be able to get together with him.
I see Charles coming back
"Charles, you and I are together and we didn't know it" I start laughing
"You saw" he laughs too
"But how?"
"Fans are strange, but I love them all"
