8 years later

"mum! dad takes me karting, see you later!" my son Thomas tells me

"be careful" I say

oh hey hi guys, you might be wondering, how are things going?, great let me update you

Eight years ago our son Thomas was born, a boy, although many would have wanted a girl, including me, and Lando and I moved permanently to England

in London precisely, for more or less 3 years, we got married in August almost nine years ago

Lando is now 32 years old almost 33 and continues to race, still with McLaren

I, however, retired 3 years after the birth of my son, to be able to dedicate myself to him as much as I could

almost all of our friends have gotten married, but they continue to race too

In his free time Lando tries to spend as much time as possible with Thomas, he takes him to the grand prix, when he has time he takes him on karts, in short, he is training him to become like him, perhaps even better

and I'm very proud of my two boys, because Lando won a world champion title, and in a year my son will sign up for karts to compete

in short, life couldn't get better than this, every day I think about how we got here

fight, hatred, kisses, tensions,sex, passion, competition, all this encloses me and Lando

we started with "I hate you" and ended with "I love you"

we started with not being able to touch or see each other to touch and see each other to survive

from getting engaged to having a child

to get married and maybe, who knows, grow old together

after many years I can tell you that unexpected things are always the most beautiful

you just need to be patient and everything will fall into place.
