Sam's POV
My heart pounded as I ran, I could slowly start to feel my body losing all its energy. I could feel my legs weakening with every movement I made. I was running out of breath but I knew I couldn't stop, at least not right now. I found a small corner behind a building. I immediately ran and hid behind it. I could feel my heart pounding in my throat as I tried to catch my breath. I placed an arm on my chest as I slowly poked my head from behind the corner. He was still there. I immediately turned my head back and tried to make as little noise as I could. At one moment- everything was silent. My heart pounded even faster as I could hear faint footsteps, getting closer and closer. I slowly crochet down as I tried to hide myself as well as I could. Suddenly I saw him, turning the corner and slowly walking. He didn't notice me.
I slowly crawled out of the corner and ran as fast as I could. Suddenly I felt a throbbing pain in the back of my head as I felt like I was starting to lose consciousness. I fell down on my knees as I held an arm to the back of my head. When I removed my hand I noticed blood on it. My vision was getting dizzy as I slowly turned my head behind me. There I saw him standing over me with a baseball bat in his arms. Everything seemed to be happening so fast, I couldn't tell what was going on. Suddenly he gripped the bat as he hit me across my head. My head hit the ground as everything slowly faded to black.
