By the time her house arrived, Becky was closed partially. Her head was leaning against the car seat and her mouth was gaping. The brain, clouded by alcohol, was running wildly and illogically through her eyes all the things that had affected her throughout the day. That was indeed a rough day for her.
In the pub, there was an 84-inch LED TV that displayed an ongoing soccer match. When her friends were completely indulged in the match. That stranger beauty she saw in the food court was on the TV wearing a cheerleader outfit in a yellow top and a short skirt with red pom poms in her hand, with a smiley face, circling around dancing for Gangnam style.
"Becky, come on it's getting late. We need to return "Irin's voice brought her back to reality when she realized it was some other girl on the TV.
Becky was dreaming about her perfect stranger. When Nop, who was driving the car, shakes her shoulder, Becky wakes up from her dream. Narrowing her eyes, she blinked and looked around. The car was stopped in front of a shopping complex.
"Why did you stop here..?" Becky asked irritated.
"It's my girlfriend's birthday tomorrow so I should buy her something to surprise her. Can you accompany me", Nop told in a low voice. Everyone in the car gasped in shock.
To his surprise, Becky accepted and helped him in finding the perfect perfume for his girlfriend. They drove Becky to her house, she had already slept midway.
"Hmm.. Ok.. Bye.. See you tomorrow..!!"
Becky said nervously and got out of the car. She walked towards the house with slightly wobbly legs. As if waiting for her to get down, the car sped off suddenly.
When she entered the house, an old song was playing on some channel on the TV in the hall.
Her grandparents were sitting on one of the sofas in front of the TV watching, listening, and enjoying the song. Just as she entered, Grandpa turned to the side and smiled at Grandma."Hey... Sara.." and secretly called "Do you remember..??" he asked.
Grandma suddenly remembered the past and her face turned red with embarrassment.
"Hmm...!!'
She said in a whisper, leaning her muzzle on her shoulder and blushing gently. Becky, who was already angry because of the love tips and advice she got this morning made her even more annoyed when she saw their past romance. She looked at his grandfather and asked a bit sternly and sarcastically
"it doesn't seem like you two are simply watching TV. Remember there are two youngsters in this home "
"Hmm.. Enough of watching... It's going to be ten o'clock... We'll go and sleep !! Grandma dragged her husband to their room.
Becky was watching them go. She knew that she always wanted someone to grow old.
Her grandparents worked together in a drama company, and they fell in love and got married. They have already set the relationship goal to the highest standard.
Becky's father is a renowned businessman in Thailand but she never brags about her father's wealth. She doesn't use his name for her business growth either. She wanted to grow in her efforts. Her brother Richie is managing an event-organizing company. He struggled in the beginning as Becky but with his father's help, he could now see a good profit from his business.
"Are you drunk", Richie's voice suddenly heard from nowhere.
Becky tried to shoot him but he had already started to scream for his father and mother. Becky pressed her palm on his mouth and dragged him into the dining room and pleased him not to tell it to their parents, especially to their mom. She knew her mother's non-stop lectures were incorrigible.
