It took five minutes for Becky to get oriented to the environment. When she realized she was in a hospital and it had been two days the scenes that happened at the park came to her mind slide by slide. She felt her body slowly start to tremble.

She was so weak that she couldn't shout or call for help. She looked around and found the emergency call button at the corner of the bed and wasted no time. She pressed it again and again until a team of doctors and nurses rushed into her room. Irin and Richie followed the team.

Becky was having a panic attack and refused to take any medication at the moment. Irin held her in a tight embrace until she settled down.

I

Doctor: "Mr. Ritchie your sister's vital signs are stable but I'm not sure about the side effects of the drug, we can discharge her in the evening but it would be better if you could convince her to alternative therapy for the panic attack. If we don't treat it in time she may tend to have them more frequently. I hope you understand".

The doctor said to Richie and left the room along with the nurses giving them the space needed.

The room was in deafening silence. No one spoke a word until Becky started.

"What happened Irin? Where is Sam? How did I end up in the hospital?"

"Bec you need to calm down first. I'll tell you everything but please calm down now".

"Please Irin.. tell me what happened?", Becky's voice broke.

"I got a call from Sam. She asked me to pick you up from the park. She said that.... she said that she gave you sleeping pills and you fell asleep in the garden. Before I could ask further she ended up the call. When I arrived at the park I saw you sleeping on the stone bench. I tried to wake you up but I couldn't..."

When Irin was explaining this Becky couldn't believe what had happened. She saw Richie sitting in a chair beside her bed controlling his anger.

"Did you see Sam? Was she there?", Becky asked but she knew the answer.

"No Bec. She was not there".

"Have you tried calling her?", Becky asked with hope.

"Her phone was in your pocket", Richie said as he took out Sam's phone from the table drawer. It was broken almost into pieces.

"So she left her phone with me!", Becky told to herself.

"Bec... I think she left... left you for good". Irin said but she couldn't stop tears rolling out of her eyes.

"No Irin... I'll find her. She is mine", Becky said firmly.

"Take me out from here Richie. I need to find her. She must be somewhere near me. She won't leave me... She could never.. take me out of here", Becky started sobbing.

"Bec calm down... I'll take you wherever you need but not today. Please take a rest. Irin will stay with you until the evening. We'll get you discharged". Richie assured her.

Becky couldn't stay in peace. She was thinking about where to start. She doesn't know the starting point. Almost everything seems blank and blurred. She remembered Sam's basic details like the computer course she was studying and some irrelevant pieces of information.

Becky remained silent the whole day. She was formulating a plan to search for Sam.

But little did she know that the love of her life had left no proof of existence behind.
