One week later
It was Friday, once again, and Wooyoung had avoided San and his sister as much as he possibly could. It was obvious to, not only him, but the entire school that they were fucking each other. He thought it was gross. He also didn't really know how to face San. Not that he seemed to notice much.
About two days ago, Faye was able to stop Wooyoung and talk to him. And their conversation didn't exactly go well...
"You're avoiding me Woo." Faye said, teasingly.
"No I'm not, don't flatter yourself. I have other friends I spend time with too."
"Harsh. I'm just playing with you. But still, what's wrong? Why do you seem so upset this week?"
"It's just some school stuff, okay? Stop asking me questions."
"Okay, geez."
There was an awkward silence before Wooyoung said, "The other night, I came by San's room. Are you two...God don't make me ask..."
"Dating? No. It's not really like that."
"You're sleeping together though?"
"Um." Faye chuckled at his urgency. "I guess so, yea."
Wooyoung scoffed. "Whatever it is, just leave me out of it. We were all friends together and you two are gonna ruin it-"
"Hey, that's not true. And honestly, you don't have any room to talk."
"What do you mean?"
"Listen, I don't want to fight or bring this up again, but you didn't seem to think this way a year ago when you dated my best friend, Chaewon."
"That's not the same thing."
"Isn't it?" Faye hesitated for a moment, thinking about her next choice of words carefully. She was clearly bothered about having this conversation. "Honestly, I don't care about that, but I do think you'd be a bit of a hypocrite if that's why you're upset. I mean, like you said, you have other friends too now. And we're grown. San and I can do what we want. But, I am really sorry if it's awkward. It kind of just happened-"
"Okay, spare me the details. I don't care, okay? It's just weird. Just give me some space."
"Aw, Woo. It's okay, you're right. Maybe we can all talk about it and figure something out. How about you come to San's room later tonight and we can all hangout." Faye sighed and gave him a tight hug before walking away.
Fuck that. Wooyoung would've rather done anything else than be stuck in a room with Faye and San. He hadn't talked to either of them since.
"Hey, Hongjoong." Wooyoung called out, down the hall, as he ran to catch up to him.
"Hey." Hongjoong replied gently. "I have a composition assignment that's kicking my ass right now. I'm going to the music room during lunch to work on it."
