"Batty gyal Tiara!" , I heard my cousin Lando call from across the fence."Rattttttty!" He called again by my pet name, louder this time stretching the 'y'.
I came out and stood hands a kimbo, looking at him and screwing up my face .
"Yaah battyman bredda? Yuh come a man yard a call so fa dawg?" I said to him
The other boys laughed.
"Watchya! Ediat man a ask if yuh a come a ball field? " he responded with an animated expression .

Mom and I had long moved from the family home and had our own place not far away. It was just us and I loved that, she still worked alot but I didn't mind anymore because when she was home, she was home.
And I was seen and loved and heard and that was all that mattered.
She knew I loved the man company and I think she is a little scared but she trusted me and knew i was not going to be crazy.
She was in the living room working on her laptop.

An a dat a our relationship fi you. Then him and mommy go chat until him ready to leave. He had more to say to his ex than to his only daughter. How lovely.
