Chapter 8

At Lucy's apartment, everyone is packing the stuff away. Tim grabs Tamara and pulls her aside.

Tim: "You know that look we got for your mum, how about you give it to her now. It will cheer her up more after everything that has happened." She nods and grabs the box, she walks over to Lucy.

Tamara: "Hey mum, I have something for you. I have had it for a while but haven't found the right time to give it to you and I thought this is the perfect time." She passes the box over to Lucy, she opens it and eyes start to water.

Lucy: "Omg it's beautiful. Thank you darling."

Tamara: "Open it." She opens it and a few tears roll down her cheek.

Lucy: "It's beautiful. How did you do this?"

Tamara: "The first time Tim and I went out I asked him to help me get you something special to show you my love. He brought it for me and helped get the picture in there. I left the other side blank in case you wanted to add a picture of Tim in there." Tim walks in.

Lucy: "Thank you babe. I love you two so much." They both respond with 'I love you too', Tim puts the necklace on Lucy and gives her a kiss. They could packing, once everything is moved into cars they head over to Tim's house.

Tim: "Ok sweetie. Before you walk in I do have a dog, sometimes he doesn't like new people so please just be careful." She nods and Tim opens the door. Everyone's face drops at how nice this place is, Tim's dog comes over greeting Tim. Lucy kneels down and the dog showers her with love.

Lucy: "Hey Kojo, I missed you too. We have someone for you to meet." They guide Tamara into the room with Kojo, Kojo slowly steps forwards and sniffs around her. Then all of a sudden, Kojo launches at Tamara. Everyone was worried until they heard giggling, Kojo was licking her and loving on her. Tamara enjoyed it very much, they became good friends real quick.

Tim gives everyone a tour of the house, then stops at the last door.

Tim: "Sweetie, now behind this door is your room. Your mum and I worked on it on our last date, so you guys could sleep over. I hope you like it and you can always change it up if you want." Tim opens the door for Tamara. Her eyes light up and everyone watches her reaction.

Tamara: "This is my room?"

Tim: "Yes it is." She wonders around her room before turning back to her parents.

Tamara: "Thanks dad, thank you mum. This is amazing!" She gives them both a big hug.

Tamara: "Your house is amazing dad." Tim holds Lucy's hand and turns to Tamara.

Tim: "Hey, this isn't my house anymore. It is our house now. Your home." Tim brings her in for a hug and starts tickling her, she starts giggling as Lucy joins in with Tim. Everyone works to unpack their stuff and the gang hangs out at the house. Tim pulls Lucy aside to chat.

Lucy: "Thank you for everything, you're going to be an amazing dad to Tamara. But I'm also hoping that you are ready to become a dad for the second time."

Tim: "What your pregnant?"

Lucy: "Yes I am. We're going to have a baby. But also do you think we should ask everyone about what we were talking about?"

Tim: "Oh yes baby, we can. It's the perfect time." They hug and kiss, then heads back to the others.

Angela: "You guys seriously had to go have a break the bed."

Lucy: "No, we had something to discuss." Everyone looks confused.

Tim: "We were wondering if Bailey, Angela and Nyla would be Tamara's aunties; Jackson, John, Wesley and James would be her uncles."
