Chapter three

Nat
After practice everyone headed back to the changing rooms, Lottie and Nat waited until everybody left, and it slowly started to clear out until there was only Nat, Lottie, Tai and Van.

"Come on Nat hurry up we need to go soon" said Van
"Oh um actually I'll walk"
"It's raining" replied Tai
"Yeah I know, it's um ok"
Van walked over to Nat and whispered to her.
"Is it Tai?" Asked Van
"What, no I um" replied Nat
"I'm going to study with lottie but you can't tell anyone, not even Tai"
"What the fuck?!" Shouted Van
"Hey keep it down" whispered Nat harshly
"Ok, ok, text me everything!"
And with that Van walked over to Tai, grabbed her by her hand and said
"She wants to walk, let's go"
Before winking at Nat and walking out.
"What was that about?" Asked Lottie
Nat looked up at her.
"Just Van being Van"
"Oh ok!" Said lottie before starting to walk out
"Come on let's go" said Lottie
Nat grabbed her bag, not replying before following lottie out to her car.

Lottie went around and opened the door for Nat before opening her own door and climbing in.
"Uh thanks" said Nat
Lottie just smiled in return before turning on her engine and putting in a cd.
"So, how was your day?" Asked Lottie
"What?"
"How was your day?"
"Oh uh, ok" replied Nat, confused
They carried on driving in silence before Lottie started driving up a huge path, encased in trimmed bushes before Lottie parked her car in-front of her house. Nat looked up at the house in shock, it was huge.

Lottie
Lottie jumped out of the car, grabbing her bag, followed by Nat who did the same. They both closed their doors and started walking towards the two front doors. Lottie pulled one of the doors open for Nat.
"Thanks"
"No problem, so did you want to start with history because that's the only book I have in my bag, or we could start with chemistry because-"
Lottie looked over at Nat who's mouth was slightly open as she stared around in shock.
"Oh right, well it's something" said lottie before grabbing Nat's hand taking her out of her trance and started dragging Nat to the living room. Lottie felt her cheeks turn red at the thought of holding Nat's hand so let go.

Lottie sat down on the floor in-front of the couch. "Why are you sitting on the floor?" Asked Nat
"Oh um, just because I guess. We can sit on the couch instead if you want?"
"No it's ok"
"You know, your pretty weird Matthews"
Lottie blushed, Matthews, she had never been called her last name in this sense before. Nat sat down opposite Lottie on the floor.
"History" said Nat
"Huh?" Asked Lottie
"You asked me if I wanted to start with history or chemistry, I think we should start with history."
"Oh right" replied Lottie still flustered
She grabbed her History book out of her bag and took out two notebooks, one marked Lottie with neat hand writing on the cover and the other Plain. Lottie handed Nat the plain one and started to explain the history behind World War Two, followed by the colonisation of America.

A-few hours later Lottie and Nat had moved onto chemical bonding, when lottie looked at her watch.
"It's getting late, want to order a pizza?"
"Uh yeah sure" replied Nat
"I don't know about you but I have done more than enough studying for today, how does a movie sound? Asked Lottie blushing.

Natalie
A movie, with Lottie fucking Matthews. Jesus Christ,what was going on? But before she could say no Lottie was dragging her onto the couch, and turning Netflix on. Nat could feel her leg touching Lottie's, and she could feel her her face burning with blush. She hoped Lottie wouldn't Notice.
"What do you want on the pizza?" Asked Lottie
"Um, I don't mind, just no mushrooms"
"Ok" said Lottie, dialling the pizza place

What the fuck was going on. How did studying go to Pizza and a movie. Nat tried not to move, what was going on.
Lottie hung up with the pizza guy
"It will be here in half an hour"
"Oh ok"
"What do you wanna watch?"
"You choose" replied Nat
"You like scream right"
"Uh yeah, I do"
"Ok cool" said Lottie, finding the movie
"Wanna watch the new one?"
"How do you have the new? one it's not even out yet" asked Nat
"My dad pulled some strings" replied Lottie
"The new one sounds good" said Nat
"I am so totally in love with Jenna Ortega"
Nat hated when straight girls said they were in love with other girls, it's literally false hope.
"She's literally my wife" said Lottie
That was weird, Nat just awkwardly laughed as the movie started.
The door bell rung
"That must be the pizza, I'll go get it" said Lottie, standing up and walking out. Nat's phone buzzed
Van
Van- how did it go???
Nat-it's still going....
Van- you guys are hooking up?? Called it
Nat- ew gross no we are just watching a movie
Van- same thing!
Van- I totally ship you guys
Nat- well too bad she's straight then
Van- hahahah very funny
Nat-huh?
Van- Nat Lottie's gay...
