Chapter five

Natalie
She didn't really know what she was getting herself into, and she didn't really want to be tutored, but she was curious. Why out of everyone, did Lottie ask Nat? and that's why she chose to agree, and so she texted Lottie
Lottie
Nat- I'm in.
Lottie- really? That's great, can we meet up tomorrow morning at mine? I have a free period first
Nat- ok, see you then.
Natalie was almost home, she decided she was going to try and climb in through her window so her dad didn't see her. She went behind the back of their trailer to where her window was, and slowly climbed in, trying not to make any noise. She slid through the gap, being careful to avoid breaking anything on her dresser. She placed her legs on the set of draws and closed the window behind her.

Tuesday
Lottie
Lottie was nervous about meeting up with Nat in an hour. Well they hadn't agreed on an exact time but she assumed that Nat would be here at 6:30 on a Tuesday morning. Lottie got out of bed and got changed into a light blue plaid skirt and tight pink top, before doing her makeup and finishing getting ready.
The weather was better today, the sun was in the sky and there weren't many clouds. Lottie grabbed some doc martens to go with her short white socks and ran downstairs to place them by the door. Then she went to the kitchen and grabbed out a breakfast bar, waiting for Nat to arrive.

Natalie
Here she was, in-front of Lottie fucking Matthews house, for the second day in a row... she was weirdly nervous but despite that she walked up to the two huge front doors and rung the bell.
Lottie answered the door a-few seconds later, she looked really good and was holding half a breakfast bar in her hand.
Lottie went in to hug Nat but Nat stood back awkwardly offering Lottie her hand. Lottie pushed Nat's hand down
"You know, if we're gonna do this your gonna need to hug me"
"Yeah sorry" said Nat nervously
"Come in"
"Thanks" replied Nat, taking off her shoes at the door.
Lottie started walking through the house and Nat followed until they reached the living room. Lottie sat down on the couch and Nat did the same.
"So..." said Nat
"Oh right"
"So, I'll help you study, how does every day after school sound?"
"Good" said Nat
"Unless we're going to a party" said Lottie
"Hold on, parties?"
"Yeah, wait I haven't explained your whole part in this, sorry"
"So I just need you to be there"
"Be there?" Asked Nat
"Yeah just be with me, like at parties mostly so I don't have to keep turning guys down, but in school as well, you know for the act"
Nat stopped and thought to herself. Ok no big deal I just have to pretend to date the prettiest girl in school. Not that Nat thought Lottie was the prettiest girl in school, I mean there was- ok but maybe like- shit.
"Ok, sounds good" said Nat
"Great" said Lottie
"How are we gonna announce this..." asked Nat
"We could just walk into school holding hands I guess"
"Yeah, great" said Nat nervously. She was gonna hardcore launch her fake relationship in-front of the whole school. What was the issue there?...

Lottie
Lottie was nervous, like really nervous, but having Nat by her side made it so much better. And Nat looked really good.
"I was just thinking, you should keep my jacket, the one I gave you yesterday" said Lottie
"Oh, yeah it's in my bag, I'll put it on" said Nat, taking of her jacket and putting on Lottie's.
Lottie loved the way her jacket looked on Nat. It suited her.
"I'll pick you up every morning and drop you off home" said Lottie
"Ok, thanks" said Nat

Natalie
It was nice knowing that Lottie would be around constantly, sort of comforting
"And what about like kissing?" Asked Nat awkwardly
"We can cross that bridge when we come to it, but let's try and avoid it for now..." said Lottie
Nat nodded. She didn't mind the idea of kissing Lottie, Nat brushed that thought away quickly. This was fake, all fake...

Lottie
Lottie took the last bite of her breakfast bar and put the wrapper in her pocket. "
We still have 20 minutes, wanna finish our movie?" Asked Lottie
"Oh yeah sure!" Said Nat, she was enjoying the movie before everything happened.
They both lent back on the couch as Lottie turned the movie back on. Lottie moved her leg forward so it was touching Nat's like the night prior. She didn't know why she wanted to, but she did, and so they watched the movie, their legs touching.
That was until they had to go.
"We need to head off now" said Lottie
"Ok"
The two girls stood up, Lottie grabbed her bag followed by Nat and they headed out to Lottie's car. Lottie locked the front door behind them, no one spoke until they got in the car.
"Not opening the door for me today Matthews?" Nat said jokingly.
"Oh I'm so sorry m'lady" Lottie replied
They both laughed. Lottie put a cd in her car and the music started playing as the two girls headed to school. The car ride seemed almost long and there was a strange tension in the air.
"What class do you have first?" Asked Lottie
"I have gym" said Nat
"I'll walk you"
"Ok"
The remainder of the car ride was short, and before Lottie knew it she was parking her car. Lottie got out of the car and walked round to open Nat's door for her.
"Thanks"
Lottie closed the door as Nat got out and handed Nat her bag, before grabbing her own. They walked up to the entrance. Lottie took Nat's hand. Nat looked at Lottie. Lottie looked at Nat. Here we go, thought Lottie.

Notes: hope you liked this chapter, I still have no idea what I'm doing so sorry about that, but we're getting into the plot now!
