Lottie
Lottie waited outside her classroom for Nat to come and pick her up so they could go to lunch. Eventually she saw Nat walking down the hallway and smiled at her, before walking up to her and slipping her hand into Nat's
"Hey" said Nat
"Hi"
"You ready for this?" Asked Lottie
"Nope, but here we go"
Lottie tightened her grip on Nat's hand as they approached the door to the cafeteria. Lottie pushed the door open and they walked in, hand in hand. Everyone stopped. Everyone stared. Everyone whispered.
Lottie lent down and whispered to Nat
"It'll pass"
"Come on, we sit over here"
Lottie said, pulling Nat over to a table full of their teammates, she didn't mind the attention but knew that Nat did so she let go of Nat's hand and put her arm around Nat's shoulder. She hoped it would be sort of supportive.

Natalie
Nat liked the way Lottie's arm felt around her shoulders, it felt safe. They arrived at the table and sat down in a space in the middle, and for a-few seconds no one said anything, everyone just looked at them, that was until Jackie broke the silence
"Hey guys"
"Hi" replied Lottie, who now went back to holding Nat's hand
"Hey" said Nat quietly
Tai was about to say something but Van shook her head at her.
There were no questions, I guess no one wanted to ask anything in-front of Nat, and so normal conversations continued.
"You guys ready for the game this Sunday?" Asked Jackie
"Yeah, we're totally gonna kick ass" said Van
"Language" shouted Laura lee
"What that's not even that bad" said Van
Everyone laughed
It was Nice, everyone seemed like they did when they were all kids and friends, all laughing together. Everyone seemed so genuine and happy. Nat missed feeling that way.
"Jax and I are throwing a party tonight" said Shauna
"Yeah, round mine, is everyone coming?" Asked Jackie
Everyone went around the table agreeing until it got to Nat, she didn't know what to say, luckily Lottie spoke for her.
"We'll be there" said Lottie, who was still gently holding onto Nat's hand, even though she didn't have to. It made Nat feel all warm inside, being with Lottie and holding her hand and stuff.
Soon enough the bell rang to mark the end of lunch, and with so everyone started piling out of the lunch hall and to their respective classrooms.
"I'll drop you off at your next class" said Nat
"Thanks, I have Spanish"

Lottie
Nat dropped Lottie off at her Spanish class and Lottie went in to sit at the back. Normally Mari was in her class but she didn't seem to be there. Lottie took out her notebook and started scribbling notes down.

About 20 minutes into the class there was a knocking at the door, she looked around and everyone in the classroom was gone. The door was swung open. It was Nat.
"Hey Nat what are you doing here?"
Nat walked in, she wasn't wearing what she was earlier. She was wearing a short leopard print dress with Lottie's jacket on top.
"I missed you" said Nat
"What?"
Nat walked over to Lottie and put her arms around Lottie's waste, Lottie put her arms around Nat's neck. They were dancing, why were they dancing? What was going on? Music started playing in the background. They were in a huge black room, just the two of them, dancing to music.
"You look beautiful" said Nat
Lottie blushed
"Oh, uh, thanks" she said nervously
Nat stood on her tip toes and ran her hand through Lottie's hair. She bought her hand around and placed it against Lottie's cheek.
Nat pulled Lottie's head down and brought her face up in-front of Lottie's
What was happening, was Nat about to kiss her? She was scared, and nervous and excited.
Nat bought her lips to Lottie's. Her lips were warm and soft and she wished she could stay the there forever. Nat pulled away, and before Lottie knew it she was gone. And Lottie was left alone, in the darkness. This wasn't real. What was happening. Then she was back in her classroom.
"Lottie?"
"Lottie can you hear me?"
"Are you ok?"
"Excuse me, miss Martinez, I need some help"
"Lottie!"
She sat up, her meds, she forgot to take her medicine. She reached for her bag and the room started spinning, she knew she had a spare somewhere. She opened her bag and everything fell on the floor. She fell to her knees to try and pick up her stuff, everything was spinning and morphing into weird shapes and waves. Where was her medicine?
"Lottie"
"Can you hear me?"
"It's me misty"
"Medicine" Lottie said
"I need my Medicine"
She reached over for the tub, a single spare pill inside, she clasped onto the tub and opened it, grabbing the pill and placing it between her lips before everything went black.

Natalie
Nat was sitting by the dumpsters when her phone buzzed, it was Van.
Van
Van-Lottie's in trouble
Van-she's in the medical room
Nat- I'm on my way
Nat ran back into the building and started running to the medics office. Why was she so scared? She didn't care this much about Lottie fucking Matthews.  Did she?
Nat arrived and pushed the door open.
"Lottie?" Nat shouted
"Lottie?!"
"I'm in here"
Nat went over to the curtain the voice came from and pulled it open. There she was. Laying down, still looking beautiful as ever.
"Are you ok lot?" Asked Nat
"Yeah, I'm fine, just a bit drowsy"
"Ok, that's good"  Nat said, taking a seat next to Lottie and gently grabbing her hand.
"Nat, no one's here" Lottie said, looking down at her and Nat's Hands intertwined.
"I know" Nat said nervously
Neither of them said anything. Nat's heart was beating so fast she hoped Lottie couldn't hear it.
"I'll be better for practice"
"Are you sure?" Asked Nat
Lottie turned towards Nat and smiled at her,
"Im sure"
Lottie's smile always made Nat feel warm inside.
"You should go back to class, I'll see you at practice" said Lottie
"Ok, I'll see you there" replied Nat. She so badly wanted to stay with Lottie, to keep holding her hand. But she didn't. She left and headed to the bleachers, first she had practice, then she had to go to a party. With Lottie. This was gonna be interesting.
