Adla Klenn squeezed her eyes shut as a scream ripped through her lungs. The buzzing sound of the interrogation droid was the only thing that could be heard over Adla's screams. Her forehead, arms, wrists, chest, torso, thighs, and ankles were strapped down. Her whole body spasmed and her fingers flexed as pain radiated through her body. Fresh tears streamed down her cheeks and dripped off of her chin.

She wasn't sure how long she had been here, but the two officers had been at the task for hours. She was pretty sure it had been days since Vader had arrested her on Naboo.

She couldn't really calculate anything, though. Thoughts were not something she had the privilege to in the past few days. If they did pause their interrogation, then the side effects of the truth serum they had given her would remain. Her giggles would echo down the corridor as her world remained unbalanced and unfocused.

The interrogation droid removed its needle from her neck.

"Should we use the electricity again?" The male interrogation officer questioned the female one.

"Klenn!" The woman barked at her. "Were you and the Queen conspiring anything else against the Empire?"

Adla giggled as her eyes erratically trailed their continuous journey over the ceiling, with no pattern in mind. She couldn't react properly. Her head felt light as consistent thoughts escaped her, but her heart felt heavy at the mention of the Queen. "She was just a kid. She was just a kid and you all killed her," Adla giggled.

"She attempted an attack on our base," the male officer deadpanned. "What do you know about that?"

Adla attempted a shrug.

"Speaking of kids, what about the girl?"

"What girl?"

"The clone girl. We were informed you might know her. Do you know where she is?"

Adla shrugged again as she giggled absently. One eye blinked slower than the other.

The two officers' frustration grew tenfold. They had been at this for days, and they received essentially nothing from her.

"Perhaps she doesn't know anything," the male officer brought up the concern for the first time.

The female officer was absolute in her decision, though. "No. Lord Vader said that she knew something. We must find out, we will find out." She pressed a few buttons on a handheld device. "Pump more substance into her. We will loosen her tongue one way or another."

The whirl of the interrogation droid buzzed loudly as it drew closer and closer once more to Adla. The droid protruded its needle and unceremoniously plunged it back into her neck. Adla's screams began once more. The light and airy feeling of her body was replaced and consumed in pain.

Meanwhile, four out of six members of the Bad Batch successfully snuck their way onto the cruiser. The four of them were pressed up against some boxes in the hangar, out of sight. A helmeted Hunter turned his head to see three other helmets looking back at him.

"Alright, squad. Remember the plan. Tech and I will look for Adla while Wrecker and Crosshair create a distraction for us."

Tech looked up from his datapad. "My data is telling me that Adla should be in the interrogation room."

"So stay clear from there," Hunter reminded his brothers.

"Ugh, I could really go for one of Addie's maps right now," Wrecker commented.

"Just follow me," Crosshair's icy voice spoke up. The two crouched and snuck away.

Tech glanced down at his datapad again before him and Hunter moved out. They managed to avoid Imperial officers and troopers as they ducked and dived around personnel. Did they even need a distraction?
