you had stars for eyes

and a black hole smile that pulled me in,

willingly to your own little galaxy

you had stars upon stars looking at you admiring you

but i, a mere planet, would never compare to all the stars that held your milky gaze

one by one, they all became novas destroyed with blasts of sparks

created by you, and only you.

I watched everyday, hoping I'd receive the slow death of your self-destructing love

because I no longer cared if you'd destroy me

when the sparks of love gave out.
