Chapter-93 Last Of Past

Leah woke up with lots of pain in her abdomen. Worse than period pain. She can feel she is bleeding but why it's paining so much she can't guess.

She remembered falling unconscious while bleeding and having too much pain.

The doctor was sitting beside her as she needed to check if she was feeling fine or not. Drake has left long ago refusing to see her. His mind is not working properly so he went out hunting to calm his inner rage and pain.

He is a heartless bastard for the world but a small part of him still feels emotions and that part is crying for his unborn child. According to him Leah knew about her pregnancy and intentionally she didn't inform him to take revenge on him. How can a woman not know that she is pregnant?

She killed his baby to take revenge but he didn't know how wrong his assumptions were.

Leah was unaware of the truth just as he was.

"How are you feeling Leah? Is it still hurting?" the doctor asked her

"Yes! What happened to me? It's worse than normal days. Is it more painful because I got it after a long time?" Leah asked not knowing about the loss yet

The doctor felt pity over the young girl but she had to do her work. She can't hide what happened in reality.

"No! It's painful because you suffered a miscarriage Leah. You were 3 months pregnant but because of malnutrition you lost it." the doctor dropped the bomb on her head and Leah froze in her place completely

Her hand landed on her stomach immediately trying to feel what she had but now it's gone.

"I was pregnant? A baby was inside me? I was about to have a family member of my own?" she asked desperately and doctor nodded

She covered her mouth as she didn't understand what to do. Her baby is gone just like her parents; her baby gave up on her as well. She lost her baby, No she didn't lose him. He was killed slowly by his own father. His father is the reason he is no more.

"I am leaving some medicines, take them on time. You need them to heal." the doctor said and left few bottles of herbal medicines on her table

As soon as the doctor left Leah started crying. She didn't cry this much when Drake brought her here against her will or took her virginity. Today she lost a part of herself. Her baby! She failed to protect him from the cruelty of his own father.

"I'm sorry my baby! I couldn't protect you! Forgive me." she kept chanting like a maniac and screamed to let out her agony

The silent walls of her room were echoing with her cries.

Both parents were lost in sorrow, one was crying her heart out, another one was taking it out on animals. Even though it was risky for him to enter the forest at night he did enter all alone and started hunting whatever he found. It was almost dawn so a little bit of morning rays were Giving him light to see.

Leah lost consciousness because of excessive crying and when she got her consciousness back it was day time. She was expecting Drake to come and console her at least say something for the loss of their baby but nothing like that happened.

Leah thought he must love his baby but she was proven wrong when Drake didn't come to visit her for multiple days. She was served food on time but wasn't allowed to go out. It was Drake's order to do so. He wanted her to be physically fit first so he could punish her without any restraint.

Daphne has left for her kingdom soon they are going to be married. Even though from the maids the news of Leah's miscarriage came to her she didn't bother herself with it.
