Author's pov 

A boy was playing around in a garden which is filled with beautiful flowers because he loves flowers just like his mother. 

He is running behind a butterfly and Trying to catch it at a point he did and caged it in a glass jar as well. 

"Mother, see I caught a beautiful butterfly for you." the boy said showing his mother the jar 

"Oh dear, why will you do that? You shouldn't hurt anyone or cage them. It's wrong to snatch one's freedom. Everybody deserves to be free." his mother replied to her son 

"Oh! Okay I will free him then. Sorry I will never cage anyone." He said and opened the glass jar 

He clapped when the butterfly flew away. 

"Always be kind to everyone, my son. Because kindness is the greatest virtue. You will become the next Duke of Virginia and you need to be the kindest Duke of your bloodline and make sure your next heirs are kind as well. Your subjects should love you, not fear you." his mother made him understand and he nodded his head like a good boy 

"Today we will visit the orphanage and give the kids gifts. Your birthday is coming, right? When you celebrate it you should make sure to make others smile with you." his mother added further 

"Yes, mother, I know I will be the kindest Duke. Duke Drake Nightstone." Drake replied to his mother giving her a toothless smile

"Forgive me Duke! Please spare me, I'm just a farmer. I didn't mean to go against you." an old man begged in front Drake 

"Did you all forget who I am? I am your Duke and God! How dare you worship someone else in my kingdom? Wasn't the Royal Order loud and clear? In Virginia there is only one God, that's me! Your Duke Drake Nightstone. Why were you worshipping a stone statue? Will he save you coming out of the statue?" Drake asked as he paced around in a slow motion almost as a predator 

"Forgive me! I won't repeat this mistake ever." that man said again and next moment he was beheaded by Drake in front of the crowd

Everyone gasped in shock but didn't dare to make a single noise or move. Everyone knows what kind of cruel man their Duke is. More cruel than their former Duke. 

In the kingdom of Virginia there is no place for mistakes because there is no forgiveness once you commit a mistake. 

It's either Duke kills you or you kill yourself before he does. 

"You all saw what happened to this man who defied my order? It can be you if you do what he did. Now tell me who is your God?" Drake asked his subjects 

"Our God is our Duke! All hail lord Drake!" The crowd started shouting together, making a cruel smirk form on his face.
