Chapter-56

Author's pov 

Sitara sat down on the floor. She didn't make a sound or tried to open the door. Why will she when she knows that nobody will listen to her pleas? Until and unless Rehan orders to open it no one will even bother about her disappearance. 

So many months have passed she doesn't know how her father is doing or how her family is. After that Aakash incident Rehan doesn't allow her to leave his house if she goes his trusted maids are with her. 

The friend of her mother told her everything is fine but nothing more. 

Sitara won't budge from her stand because she knows she is correct. Rashmi is trying to snatch her husband but she won't let that happen. Having a relationship with his own sister? That's the worst thing a man can do. No matter what kind of relationship she has with him but she won't allow him to do anything with his sister and the worst part is he doesn't understand what his sister is doing. Or maybe he doesn't want to understand? The mere thought of that made her shudder in disgust. 

Her happy life flashed in front of her eyes before Rehan entered her life. She used to dance and had so many dreams. She will never dance in front of Rehan. 

She doesn't look anything like before. Her glow is gone but still Rehan comes to her every night when she isn't on her periods.

Sometimes his touches are very gentle as if he is loving her and sometimes he just tears her apart as if two personalities are present in him. 

She is hungry but she knows there is no food for her today. What if she got married to that Damodar guy? Would his mother and he have treated her in the same shitty manner as Rehan and his family does? She can only wonder!

She tried to fall asleep but hunger didn't let her sleep either. What would any other girl do in her situation? Suicide? It's not that she never thought about it but the problem is she is scared of death. What if she survives? What will Rehan do with her? Will it pain too much when she will commit suicide? Will it be too hard for her afterlife? 

She had her life goals sorted, get married to a loving husband just like her father, have kids with him and live a happy life together till death do them apart. 

But now she is living but not a happy life. She will again say this to Rehan no matter what he says. He has to listen to her. Rashmi is becoming desperate day by day and Sitara isn't liking it at all. She crossed all limits by doing that stunt. 

Rehan was sitting on the dining table eating silently where both mother daughter duo were smiling ear to ear. Sitara is locked and they won't be happy is it even possible? They don't know the reason and they don't want to know either. 

"Rehan hum soch rahe the ki tumhara dusra nikah karwa dete hai waise bhi ab is haweli ko waris ki zaroorat hai aur us larki ka napak khun hamare waris ko paida nahi kar sakta. Tumhe uske sath raat bitani hai bitalo par Walid apni dusri biwi ke aulad ke banna. (Rehan I was thinking that you should get married once again anyways this mansion needs an heir and that girl's impure blood can't give birth to our heir. If you want you can spend your nights with her but you will father your second wife's baby)" Jahanara begum said while eating 

Rehan's hand stopped in mid while eating when he heard that. He hasn't take a lot of food but a bit of food today and he isn't able to finish it either. 

His mother's words irritated him nothing else. 

"Dekhie ammi Jaan Hume dusra nikah karne me koi dilchasbi nahi hai. Hum jaise hai waise hi thik hai. Hamari biwi ammi banne ke kabil hai wahi bahot hai. Apko apki beti ke nikah ki Baat sochni chahiye wo umra ki ho gayi hai ab. Hum Rishta dekhna suru karenge uske liye. (Listen mother i dont have any interests in remarriaying. I'm fine the way I'm. My wife is capable to become a mother and that's enough. You should think about your daughter's marriage she has became of age to get married now. I will start seeing alliances for her)" Rehan said and Rashmi started coughing loudly
