"Dove, I can explain it. It's not what you're thinking it is."I told her immediately because I don't want her to doubt me once again

I am standing in a place where every move is important for me. One wrong step and I'm doomed for sure so nope. I ain't taking any chances with her.

"Do you need an invitation to get up from my fiancé's lap?" her voice was sharp and commanding but it wasn't towards me
