Chapter-57

Sitara's pov 

I came to my room and started crying. Why did he say that? Why does he want our baby to die? I won't let him do anything to my baby. I will try my best to make him accept my baby and if he doesn't then I will leave him. I can't let him do another sin of killing his own baby. 

He has came back but didn't come into the room. I can't cry like this anymore because it will harm my baby. No matter how much I have suffered in life I won't let my baby feel the same thing. He or she will be the daughter of Nawab and get everything they should get. I am sure he won't be able to say anything when he will feel his baby in my womb and when he will have our baby in his hands. No father can look away from his own blood. 

"Ma apka bahut khayal rakhegi beta ap chinta mat karna. (mother will take care of you baby don't worry.)" I told my baby and saw Rehan entering the room 

I stayed silent and saw him doing his work ignoring me completely. I don't know why he doesn't want his baby? If he doesn't want to do anything with me or our baby then why am I even here? So many questions and no answers given. 

Today is ironically our first wedding anniversary as well, it's been one year since I have been here with him. Today I found out that I'm 3 months pregnant. I don't know if it's a sign from God or what. Maybe he wants to say our baby will fix everything. I just hope he or she fixes everything. 

I went downstairs to bring something to eat for him. I need to eat well as well. After all, my baby needs good food. I don't think his mother will allow me to eat nuts and other stuff. Rehan isn't bothering about the baby so I need to steal them at night and eat. Anyways if I eat a few no one will know if you take a bottle of water from sea can anyone notice? No right same thing is here as well. I have never eaten anything which I'm not allowed to eat but now it's for my baby. I will do everything! 

"Hum ye nikah nahi karenge ammi Jaan ap bhai Jaan se Keh dijiye. (I won't marry anyone tell this to brother)" Rashmi shouted and I was confused 

What is she talking about? Marriage? Who's marriage? 

"Dekho Rashmi tumhare bhai Jaan ne tumhara Nikah tay kar diya hai aur larka mashallah bahut acha hai. Humein aur tumhare Abbu ko bhi pasand hai. Parso tumhari sagai hai aur agle mahine nikah. (Listen Rashmi your brother has fixed your marriage and the guy is really good by God's grace. I and your father both like him as well. Day after tomorrow is your engagement and your marriage is on next month.)" My mother in law said and listening to that my face got a smile automatically 

She is getting married soon? Just in a month? That's really good news. My baby is actually a lucky charm for me when I got to know about his or her existence. This witch is leaving me and my husband alone. What else can I ask for? 

"Agla mahina Matlab bas 2 hafte? Ammi apka dimag to thik haina? Apko kya jaldi hai itni hamara nikah karane ki? (next month means just two weeks? Mother, your brain is fine right? What's the hurry to get me married?)" Rashmi asked her mother who didn't even reply to her 

Finally she will leave my life and I will be free from her. I went to the kitchen and did my work. Rehan hasn't said anything to me about the baby afterwards. He didn't even bother to ask me if I'm fine or not. I was hurt by his behaviour now. Even after knowing I'm carrying his baby doesn't he feels anything for me? From the moment I got to know I'm becoming the mother of his child I started seeing him differently. 

I don't hate him anymore because he is the father of my baby. I don't know why it affects me so much but it does. If he accepts me and our baby now I will live happily with him forgiving him whatever he has done. My nature isn't like this but the baby is making me feel like this. As if I do this and everything will be fine.
